As per my previous post, B4 made me proud to be a Derby fan. Well today everyone of you who applauded for him on 38 mins made me proud too.
So glad it was a late winner, we know who had a hand in that goal. Watch over your beloved Rams buddy, they are fortunate to have you as their No. 1 fan.

Was gutted we missed that great chance in the 37th minute!  I was literally praying to the heavens at that point... and I haven't even spoken to God since about 1968, when the infant school headmistress told me to!  
So pleased we ground it out in the end, and got those 3 points for B4.  🐏
A great effort all round by us clappers, I thought.  Went really well... although as soon as I sat back down, I had to explain to the querying guy behind what it was all about.  I just find it weird that there are folk in the stadium that don't come on here!   🤣
I didn't cry obviously, being such a tough guy, but yeah, there was very much a lump in my throat... and a hint of a smile as I looked up.
I hope he was reet chuffed!

I'm tempted to say I hope I have that many applauding when I go, but knowing my luck, that will be as soon as they get the news, and a bit scattered, not the planned concerted effort of respect we saw today! 🤣
I was secretly hoping for a minute's worth of "#BeMoreB4" flickering around the electro-hoardings, but then forgot to look, as I was too concentrated on looking up'ards!  Not seen anyone comment, so I assume this didn't happen?  Shame, but fair enough, I guess!
Great to hear B4 got a mention on the commos though.  I too would absolutely love to hear a re-run, if there's such a thing out there? 
And of course, as well as Daniel himself, I truly hope the family... and particularly our new mate @B4’s Sister... were touched and proud of the response... as it was no less than he deserved. 👏
He was a top guy then, he's a top guy today, and he'll remain a top guy for eternity.

So emotional today, hearing the applause ring out for Daniel. I was very heartened to read that both RamsTV and Radio Derby mentioned him in their commentaries.

Been off for a while and just caught this. Devastating news.
Deserves a statue outside the club. Absolute legend. Was a pleasure to follow on here for the last 15+ years and always had a nice time chatting with him on Facebook when he would ask about Disney.
We could all do with being a bit more like Daniel. He will be missed

A lovely thought that the applause for B4 would have been heard across the world by anyone listening/watching.

If it wasn't for the fact this was quelled in the past day or so, it'd be rendered irrelevant.
I'm all for romance, and It was a nice emotionally charged idea at the time, but given the timescale involved to reach this decision, the right decision was made.

Rooney himself reputedly... and fairly... responded thus:
 "The Freedom of Derby? Was I meant to get the Freedom of Derby?” said Rooney. 
“I had a great time at Derby under difficult circumstances. I never expected to get the freedom of the place. I respect the football club, I respect the fans, but there are a lot more people who deserve the Freedom of Derby more than I do.”

At the time it was initially announced I don't think anybody would have disputed giving it to him.
However as time has passed and with the the benefit of hindsight it appears it was emotionally charged idea. 
Had he he still been at the club I would personally have  advocated awarding it to him. It doesn't seem right now he no longer has any long term connection with the club.
Having said that I'm still personally thankful and have the utmost respect to him for the way he conducted himself at the time. He was immense in the way he held the club together. 

Listen up everyone! We need the all the positivity you can muster on Saturday. We need a sea of black and white and strong voices. If it ain’t going our way, get behind the lads and build them back up! Bring all the B4 energy. Wave the scraves and flanges. Sing your hearts out and clap until your hands sting in the 38th minute.

I'm so sorry that lack of internet access (nursing my mum and covid) has kept me from adding my condolences to the wonderful B4 and his amazing family. I've been reading the thread on my old phone since Angie first told us of the dreadful news but have been unable to post until today. I can't add anything to the heartfelt tributes I've read, but I share everyone's sadness and touching comments about our young friend. B4 - what an incredible soul you were. Friendly, brave, funny, loyal, kind, caring and an example to us all. I will miss your posts so much. You could never have known just what an influence for good you had on this small corner of the world or how your departing would affect so many who never even met you.
Rest in peace, Dan and thank you for all you taught us. COYR!!
