A little cynical but nothing too much wrong with that. For me, the club still exists - That's obviously the most important thing. If it weren't for Rooney galvanising the team, the club and, to a point, the fans/city would those big crowds have happened? Would the protests happened to the extent that they did? Where would be right now?
Throughout the last 18-24 months Rooney is pretty much the only constant outside of the players, he's stood head and shoulders above owners, prospective owners, politicians, the EFL, 'experts''/pundits/journos/ITKs, other clubs' owners and officials. He's pretty much the ONLY person I can think of (outside of players) who is obviously in credit after all of this. So yeah, I'm happy with it.

He is communicating far more than anyone else before, let him get on with his day to day business affairs and I am sure he will update us regarding all things DCFC as and when applicable.

29/08/1959 - 07/05/2022   My first and possibly/probably last games I have seen the Rams play.

I assume it's the height of foolishness to think that the EFL (spit), would actually come out and do something useful to help in this situation? It not, what are they for, what is their function if not to look after one of the 72 clubs they purport to represent?

Do you remember the Liverpool 2-0 game in the early 60's with Bill Curry and Mick Hopkinson scoring from what seemed about 50 yards and Curry's battle with Ron Yeats!.  Can still see those goals now, incredible atmosphere at the BBG.

Loved Bill Curry all his shots seemed to be no higher than two inches off the floor, and Mick Hopkinson had really short shorts. Also Reggie Mathews knocking out Alex Dawson against PNE.

With an English accent you can tell them anything and they will believe you. Where I worked a woman used to call the office just to hear me talk. I love them bits though, so much so I became one in 2010. I have two nice shiny passports now. I love pissing off TSA and customs both sides of the Atlantic. I was once asked at Manchester airport how long I would be in the states for. As long as I want, I said. No you won't, you can only stay (3 months I think it was) he said. Nope pretty sure I can stay longer, I replied. Now he was getting annoyed. As a British citizen you cannot stay as long as you want. Ok then, I got my US passport out, put it on the counter and told him I would travel on this one then. Cue red face and muttering about smart arse wasting his time. Childish I know, but anything for a laugh.
