Watch this (it’s far more than just the MP’s speech) and try not to well up. I dare you.

They've got used to doing whatever the duck they want without major scrutiny, with 95% of people turning a blind eye. Must be a hard habit to break.
All the absolute poo that they've come out with, all their biased interpretations of their own rules designed to duck their 'enemies' over when it suits them but defend themselves when it doesn't, have backed them into a corner where when it comes to them having to do the right thing it only exposes the amount of times they've done the wrong thing.
Actually doing the right thing and deciding that Boro/Wycombe should settle down now leaves them exposed and in danger, so they double, treble, quadruple down on the wrong to save their own skin.
    A weak, pathetic organisation.

I know. The bad news also seems to coincide with my dad having tragic dementia times. I have never been so stressed generally and obsessed with my phone. Felt for B4 last night and knew how he felt so have tried to minimise time looking at this today then when plodding through the volume saw all the desperate stuff and it seemed so very very bad. Then saw about the £7m and felt my eyes welling up. Dont know what to think at this point. Draining.

Mel Morris, Steve Gibson, Rick Parry and Wayne Rooney are all multi-millionaires.
All are fans of their local clubs, all grew up supporting clubs where the vast majority of fans were ordinary people who want nothing more than to be able to traipse along to the club they love and support on a Saturday with like minded folk and cheer, moan, feel extreme highs and lows but whatever, still do it week after week, year after year.
Three of them made their money as businessmen, one made his as one of the best professional footballers of his generation.
One of them has more love of the game than the other three could ever imagine was possible. One understands the players, club employees and fans.
One has a sense of loyalty, a sense of what it truly means to be a football fan.
Wayne Rooney has more decency, loyalty, empathy and morality than the other 3 chancers put together.
Rooney will be remembered as a great player, possibly a great manager, and definitely a true football man who inspired several generations of football fans and players.
The other three will be remembered as corrupt, greedy chancers who betrayed the ordinary football supporter and tried to destroy a football club out of greed, spite, personal vendettas and cowardice.

So the EFL said in a statement they haven't got involved, but the EFL have also asked Derby to pay Boro and Wycombe's nonsense claims off with the same money that they are demanding we find to finish the season.
    Are they ducking thick?

Do I remember correctly that the Appleby group (so presumably Riley although we didn’t know it at the time) were rumoured to be funding our force majeure Covid appeal against the 12 point administration deduction? And then we dropped the appeal and accepted 9 further points on the understanding we could draw a line under it and get on with the takeover.

If so, he might not be overly impressed at being taken for a fool by Parry and/or the EFL.

Let’s hope so. Because if that is the case, rocking up out of the blue with £7m to clear the blockage might be an interesting development.

But then we want someone who will run the club sustainably rather than someone who splashes the cash and then disappears. Been there, done that.

I've mentioned this before but something that could easily be fixed up in a day with a bit of software amendment and heavily advertised on Social media.
The club could make one seat at every home game a 'Donate' seat, you click the seat (Software sets this to multiple how many highs) and we can purchase as many of these 'virtual' seats as possible, say set it as £5 a seat and I want to donate £20 I pay for 4 seats.
The club gets 100% income and solves the 'paying back' issue.
Surely someone with contacts with Owen Bradley or someone could set this up pretty sharpish????
The attendance announcement on match day could include how many of the virtual seats are in attendance to interact with the fans.
