Don't take too many touches in midfield. Get it wide quickly. Set pieces can win you games. ad nauseum

Switching off . Enjoy the rest. Hopefully they surprise everyone.

If one of our players made that tackle and got sent off we'd be up in arms.

out of contract end of Jan. 10 goals in 18 games. Go on then

With Knights attributes and regular MOTM/POTM awards. It's a shame we didn't hang on to him and take a chance like we have so far with Cashin and Bird. We weren't given break the bank money and I'd imagine we'd be turning down similar bids for Cashin now with half the contract time and Knight with his championship and International appearances would surely have gone for more at tribunal, or not at all if we went up. His energy level is off the chart and would be just what were missing in midfield to liven things up. Thompson isn't in the same league I'm afraid although he tries.

Good signing if he keeps improving.
Reminiscent of when we signed Blackman in some respects, he came in during the winter window after a very good 6 months. Hope he beds in better.
Pretty sure he and NML will be our first choice wide players going forward, switching sides when they feel like it. Its nice to know what we have in place the next few years.
Like that we have options out wide now who can bring different things if we need it, and we don't have to run NML into the ground.
Smith will round our attack off pretty well and I think we have enough in the squad overall to see us through injuries. Whilst I think we could upgrade on a few players any additional signings now will be a bonus.
I remember us competing with Wednesday for him. Started at 550k and was 2.7 million with a supposed 25 k a week wage two weeks later. Incredibly, they matched it but he wanted to be Coached by Warne- who we paid off a few weeks later for not doing it the Derby Way. I was desperate for them to get him. Blackman, Camara and a multi million pay off in a few glorious weeks.

Was he out of contract? I've seen plenty of loans with options to buy, but can't remember a single pre-agreed loan and then signing. Maybe it's just my beer addled brain.
I'm not 100% sure, it was about 14 years ago incredibly. Just rang a bell.

If we can't afford a 300k transfer fee, Clowes is going to fume when he sees the 300k loan fee.
So we are manoeuvring a business plan then. We need a winger but we don't need anymore EFL bollox. They've signed off on things before as we all know. Makes me twitchy. What will be, will be.

Yes but you can have a binding contract for that to become permanent at the end of the loan.
Seem to remember similar with Jamie Ward.

Why? I think it’s explained pretty clearly and makes sense. Think of it as we’ve effectively paid £300k for a 26 year old on a 3 1/2 year contract. Good business.
We haven't got 300 k to spend upfront to allow us to bring in another player this window. So we are taking from a future budget under the clubs own direction, or having to manoeuvre a pre existing condition in the 2 year plan. Can't see any other reasoning unless I've missed it.

Bamfords
, are they actually allowed to lose that much? Not that it matters to them.
This makes it even funnier that we stopped their long unbeaten run and derailed their playoff push.
What makes it funnier is his of lack mathematical ability with all them fingers. He should look at the league table.

Their rambling drivel seems to not note historical football debts of 3 million quid and 800 k in agent fees that needed clearing. Can we lend them a tenner for the car park or was the £9.99 payoff enough for team that were promoted having finished 7th.

My bad. But it was still Sibley first to get pulled. Again. Despite playing well.
I think there are better lookers at the club, so I'm surprised. He perhaps has a sparkling personality.

Glad he's here as an option. Not so glad about this 300 k loan bollox, then signing on a free. Beyond weird.

Didn't he go through their academy? One of their previous owners was also his godfather .
Part of the JCB empire isn't he.

I see Sheff United got another ludicrous penalty decision to earn a point today. Have they won a point this season that hasn't been thanks to VAR or a referee's decision?
They got for a penalty in the 100th minute against Wolves that didn't go to VAR. Thats 2 points they shouldn't have had.

They had 5 games in hand to make up 3 points on a team that won 1 in 15 and none in their last 7. Almost impossible for them to drop. They did though.
