Crystal - New Order (well it's The Killers init ?)

Just finished the second series of Snowpiercier - really enjoyed it (it may be an acquired taste). Dystopian, political, megalomaniac and a big duck-off train - what's not to like?
Be a good idea to watch the movie first.

The men who stare at goats
Really enjoyed it on a watchable, easy-going type thing. I'm ex Psyops though.

Jenny Powell (No Limits) but she has been claimed already
Joanie Cunningham (Happy Days) she has also already been claimed
So, I'll go for Kimberley Drummand (Different Strokes)
Surprised no one has owned up to Pat Sharps Fun House twins?

Just to remind everyone that the entire reimagined Battlestar Galactica series is available on BBC iPlayer. Don’t let it’s sci-fi leanings put you off, it’s one of the best shows of the past 20 years...ng
Agree with this, nothing like the campy '80s version, deep, spiritual and thought provoking. Gaius Balter is a great character.
If you wanna give anime a go try Cowboy Beebop

I've started to watch The Purge on Prime.
It's good, but a bit darker than the films and more disturbing.

I'll pass on what the Padre said to me on the day he Christened my twins...
"Love the mother!"
Hope that helps

Without trying to get back into this argument on here which is taboo- but I haven't brought it up. If someone votes to leave it doesn't mean they have no social awareness, believe we stood alone or Europe owes us. Neither are they spuriously brain dead with no viewpoint worth consideration. In the words of Bill Hicks ' No one dies for a flag -they die to give you the right to burn flags if you choose'. We live in a democracy - someone can have a differing view without being constantly harangued for it.
Intelligent and reasoned people believe leaving Europe will be a good thing which I accept. I was only referring to the masses, who leading up to the referendum and in the years following were very vocal in the press on the radio and especially on social media about 'The Empire' and 'we stood alone!' etc. as if this had any meaning or even relevance.
Didn't want to start a political debate - I just took the opportunity to get a cheap shot in!

Anthropoid
WW2 story of the assassination of SS General Reinhard Heydrich, the main architect behind the Final Solution and the Reich's third in command after Hitler and Himmler. in 1943 he was sent to stamp Nazi authority on the people of Czechoslovakia.
The films really draws you in and makes you think about what people in Nazi occupied countries had to endure, flag waving Brexiteers who think we stood alone and Europe owes us etc. should watch!
I have never really understood why they did this considering the repercussions, but I guess there is always a bigger picture involved in these things.
Bit of trivia, 'Anthropoid' means resembling a human being - fitting as the film stars Cillian 'cold as ice' Murphy.

Found Belle in a cardboard box at the side of a road whilst I was based in Cyprus, she was less that a week old so what was I going to do?
Suffice to say she has behavioral issues. Despite raising the garden fence to 10 foot she could still leap over and terrorize the neighbors. Food that was cooking on BBQs and children's tea off their plates was her specialty. Once while I was out looking for her I was confronted by my rather angry 2IC who went into detail about what he would do if she "attacked" his children again.
Managed to get her back to the UK as a rescue dog - but it still cost me a packet.
Named her after the childrens tv show Belle and Sebastian.

I hate the fact that the Radio Derby coverage only starts when the team comes out, which means that you have to close down listening to Radio Derby on the net when they stops broadcasting and log on to RamsPlayer... which can be distressing.
I vehemently disagree with the fact that football league games can not be broadcast over the internet!

Great film that. A mate of mine was obsessed with that film back in the day and constantly recited dialogue from it. Did all of our heads in so much that he nearly got a good hiding himself.

Tri service flag. Navy represented by the Dark Blue, Army the red and RAF the light blue. Never seen one of those at the football before.
I'd be interested to know where that guy is based, I've been tri-service since 2006 (can't do real Army ?)

... that you miss?
Ok, I will start...
1. When the England squad for a tournament is announced the radio, in an unflamboyant way read out the surnames of the players... "Shilton... Butcher... Dorigo... Parker... Pearce... Walker... Wright..."
2. When stood behind the goal, clapping the opposition keeper into the net (he would return the clap) - I still do this, but no one knows what it is I'm doing!
