  1. With the window closing and not much more business expected for Derby when did we last have some exciting last minute transfer business? If memory serves me right Jim Smith didn’t do too badly although I think Mikel Beck may have been a deadline day signing by him.
On a positive note Forest are losing

  2. A couple of Nelson type signings wouldn’t go amiss. That was a quality piece of business and proves there are gems out there. Wilson too was a good signing as was Nyambe. Elder pre injury was playing well and PW seems to have got a tune out of Tommo so not all bad

Not sure if we are that bad historically. Perhaps bad when we've splashed the cash, good when funds were limited.

But sellers? Is anyone as bad as us? From Goddard onwards, have we ever sold somone for more than we believed they were worth? Vydra maybe?

Dailly, Hendrick, Seth maybe but it was to Leeds, am struggling for other names

    Just watched the highlights back.

He was immense last night. At both ends of the pitch, covering for Sonny Bradley, scoring a goal, assisting a goal,  getting headers in at both ends, so much energy to get up and down the pitch. Incredible. Worthy MotM.

Watched the Sky highlights, agreed he was immense. Shame the commentator mispronounced his surname as Casheen……

  5. Hate being critical but thought NML was a bit off it yesterday although I think PW said he was a doubt for the game with a knock so perhaps understandable. I agree that the first 60 mins was probably the best we have played all season although I did worry that those early missed chances would come back to haunt us. Really surprised at the size of the home support, the home goal end was virtually empty

  6. Not sure if this is the right place for this post but thought I would start a thread on away pubs. My lad and I visited Wigan Central pre game yesterday. What a great place. Loads of different real ales and cider, well priced with friendly staff. 20 min walk from the DW by Wigan Wallgate station.
