Whoever the players seeking legal council to get out of their contract with Derby, honestly I don't blame them but there is better ways to go about things.

Again, like Morris, whoever it is, and I'm sure we will find out, I wish them absolutely nothing but the worst going forward.

Yes talk about kicking you when your down if it is two players (At the moment) and they are successful in cancelling there contracts due to new owners trust me the others will follow, these are the same players who allegedly all wanted to stay with WR and Derby and fight to get back, money always talks look whats happening to Golf at the moment

They'll mostly all go. You live to our means abd every footballer at this club will want to secure their future and make sure they can pay their bills and provide for their families. I though alsop was the best keeper we've had for years. Can't believe this misery is continuing

This debacle is far from over and you cant blame any player for leaving at best we will be offering low 12 month contracts

We will be unrecognizable by time the season starts, the longer this drags on day by day we will see more players gone and potential signings also snapped up we will be left with loans, freebies and dead beats

Selling tickets would be a huge difference in finances and yes potentially the likes of Belick departing would make a big difference if the finances were right but I can’t not see us being in administration when we kick off even if we have a new buyer because it simply takes time to sort everything out and we kick off at the end of July

Not sure how we would be able to sell  Belick given the fact we still owe approx 7m for him to Arsenal and given his injuries unlikely anyone would pay that ,,more likely leave on a loan to get him off the wage bill  but that would still leave us with the bill for him to pay so not sure which way is for the best

I assume he wants a place in Poland's world cup squad and not sure thats achievable playing 3rd division football

Just a thought re Liquidation, The hassle this will cause will be like asking MM for a loan, Mansfield promoted, Solihull promoted, A N Other promoted and so on, Those teams have already based all on this season being where they are now, A shedload of work to be done form each team all with the help of the EFL of course, 2 fixture lists side by side.

Someone will be getting overtime ?‍♀️

I think if you asked those clubs who are likely to benefit from promotion they would snap your hands off, certainly Mansfield and Solihull would, hopefully it does not come to that, make no mistake the EFL will of already have made there plans for worse case senario

If anyone thinks Mike Ashley is the bloke to buy us in the next 2 weeks, that ain't happening. Whilst he holds the position of not wanting to pay the administrators a penny, and low-balling creditors, he will be bottom of the pile.

The only way Mike Ashley gets us is if the club goes right down to a liquidation deadline and the administrators agree to only taking a percentage of their 'earnings' as part of the rescue deal to stop the club liquidating.

We need someone other than Mike Ashley if we are to start on anything other than - 15 points and have a chance of putting a competitive squad together and keeping Rooney for the coming season.

Mike Ashley is always waiting for that deadline. He does this multiple times a year. He must be thinking Kirchner has pushed the deadline so close that he now stands a chance. I have nothing against his approach. He's a fine contingency plan to have, but we need someone else.

    In my opinion, of course.

All you say is true no one in there right mind wants to pay over the odds for anything though the club is in a s**** state

Q keep saying we have potential buyers but no one including Ashley as shown them the colour of money i would take a -15 point penalty now if it means we survive liquidation, the longer this drags on the bigger the debt rises and the players payday est to be £1.5m is two weeks away.

I called out kirchner weeks ago, and I’m calling this one too. It can only be Morris who paid the wages.

Me and you both i said all along after a bit of digging myself CK had little cash equity and most funds were tied up in business not the sort of person we need if we are to get back in football terms,Clubs are not toys and play things it does take a hell of a lot of investment.

Q keep saying we have others lining up but starting to get very concerned now its only 10 days when the fixtures are announced and the EFL will be getting very concerned.

    Worrying times

I'm genuinely supprised Rooney hasn't walked yet.

Hes put up with more than what most managers put up with in an entire career already. It's obvious he has ambitions of being a successful manager and at the moment he hasn't got the tools to enable him to do that.

For me Q shouldn't be paid for the "work" they have done up until this point. It's been a complete shambles.

Kirchner now has to be put on the Bamford list for me.

Let's hope one of the other interested parties can take over ASAP.

Yes i think you are correct about Q,lining there own pockets and not doing there jobs properly how can they give exclusivity to someone who had no chance of getting the deal over the line, even if KC comes back to the table now i very much doubt he as anywhere near the funds its going to take to build a team to make us competitive let alone promotion quality

If you believe MA  representative he as already said he would not pay Q crazy fees and this is why he is not sat round the table with them, this could of been done months ago had he of been.MA is not every ones cup of tea for sure but its better than oblivion and may be our only option soon

Pre season training starts two weeks on Monday that will be interesting given the amount of players we have

To summarise what’s happening is, MA putting the EFL between a rock and a hard place. EFL have to either decide to liquidate derby or force the admins to take MA’s deal. If Derby liquidate the EFL will lose a good chunk of money and will almost certainly be some form of external investigation. The admins will pretty much have to accept MA’s offer as it’s the only one on the table. If the admins don’t accept it then it could be argued they are t getting the best deal for creditors. It’s a big game of chess rn

Someone with conman sense finally,i have said for weeks if it comes down to the crunch MA will get the club he will not give a damm about the creditors they will be lucky to get 10p in the pound, yes we will end up with a possible points deduction for the season but again that will not worry MA,it will be take it or liquidate it

  9. 26 minutes ago, atherstoneram said:

No doubt he has the money to write a cheque today but if he wants to pay the creditors way below the 25p then the administrators have to go back to the creditors to accept it or not,it is not just a case of accepting his offer no matter how much spouting off he is doing in the media.

Again all you say is indeed true, however like i said MA will play the waiting game and it will be take it or leave it scenario,he is not one bit concerned about the creditors they will end up taken around 10p in the pound if there lucky plus payment plan to the HMRC but all this saves DCFC moving forward

The longer this drags on the longer we have a big chance of going into liquidation the HMRC bill as already gone from 28m to 36m since administration and chuck on top the bill from Q about another 5m

  10. 6 minutes ago, atherstoneram said:

No doubt MA is used to getting his way when buying distressed businesses from administrators but this time it isn't working so he is using the media to stir things up.

That is as maybe does not alter the fact he as the money to write a cheque today and take us out of administration yes we will end up with possible -15 points next season as he will want to pay the creditors way below the 25p in the pound threshold, but at least we will still have a club

Lets see what 5.00pm brings but to be honest i am not getting over excited about CK

If he's not buying the stadium, it's fine.

If not, you're indeed correct. Which is probably why the admins "aren't engaging"

MA is playing the waiting game he is clever and switched on for sure,he can see were the CK deal is going and the money is there to save us from liquidation, this needs sorting either way as we wont have a team to even put on the field at this rate

Never been sure that CK as the funds going forward yes he is rich in commodities but not cash rich according to wikki he only as a net value personally of 5.6m which is the complete opposite to MA

No, he absolutely should not have.

The man is a well-known business vulture - he waits in the shadows until the business is on its knees before swooping in and putting a tenner on the table.

He will let us get to the point of having absolutely nothing to our name - no Rooney, no player re-signings - before offering a derisory amount that will see us start with -15. All for the sake of getting something a little bit cheaper than market value.

I promise you, he should only ever be a last, last, absolutely final choice.

You may be right about Ashley he is a very successful business man and will not pay over the odds for anything,we may not have a choice if this story is correct,We were left to believe CK had completed the takeover and he would pay the players this month, well that as not happened

Ashley as the cash to proceed and was even prepared to do a joint venture with Kirchner if im not mistaken,if the deal does fold its Ashley or liquidation take your pick

    Franks Play off team announcement.

Without doubt as its fresh in the memory completely screwed us because he new Chelsea were calling so he had his get out clause ready, would of been more difficult had gone up although i still think he would of left but for a hell of a lot more compensation

Duck off Stoke. Already taken Jagielka from us, now they’re gonna get Flint over us as well. Bamfords. Always hated that s*******.

Plan B it is then, whatever that is. He’ll want to stay in the Championship if the offers there, and no way will the EFL let us match Stoke’s contract offer.

Yes shame always liked Flint however stand by this is going to happen a lot in close season probably end up with freebies and loans to be fair

With us owing arsenal 8 million for Bielek there's zero reason to sell, we simply wouldn't recover the money or even break even.

We will need his skills in League one.

He's still under contract next season, why would dcfc sell.

He's one bright light in a team that's decimated by free transfers during the summer.

Loaning him out, doesn't help derby, since it means the loss of a great player and so where would the benefit come from.

You couldn't do a loan swap deal either, who would join derby in that sort of swap deal.

All indeed true but if its correct Bielek is on £20-30 grand a week we may have no alternative but to loan him out on full wages paid to allow WR some wiggle room on bringing players in,The average wage last season for a top league one player was just shy of £5 grand so do we keep him or look at decent tried and trusted hard working seen it done it type of players

Can some derby fans let some forest coaches going to wembly oh dear we got flat tyres sorry fans your not going now. Forest players run out to empty forest end.

Would be funny to see for sure

Although might be an idea to send the teams coach driver a Tom Tom sat nav in the post as he might not be able to find Wembley stadium as its been a while

  17. Certainly didnt get off lightly we even had to accept a certain points deduction as the EFL had cause to deduct more if we didnt .

Every big side that gets relegated is despised and we will be no different you have to hope we rise above all the media bull and have a good enough side to even compete at the top end of the league.

80% if not more will see Derby County away fixture as there Cup Final

All credit to the Wife, she was 110% committed to uncovering who done it.

Either way you look at this both of them should be embarrassed with themselves and should never have got to a court case, wasting precious court time and god knows how much money they have both wasted in the mean time

It’s getting beyond a joke if this drags on another week you can say goodbye to the likes of Davies

If this drags on another week you can say goodbye to more than just Davies, these players like anyone are potentially openly looking for employment right now and you cannot blame any of the squad who jump ship

If its true CK as no funds to buy Pride Park as well as the takeover then sorry there is going to be no money to offer players contracts and build a new squad

This is looking very much like a -15 point point deduction and MA saving us from liquidation at the last minute

The only doomsday scenario is cK goes the way of Erik Alonso and the club is liquidated.

Semi-doomsday is Ashley comes in immediately prior to liquidation.

Rooney leaving would be a negative but something that can be overcome.

I agree with those above - if Everton make a straightforward offer of "be our manager" he'll go. He wasn't prepared to interview amongst a field of candidates whilst burning his derby squad when they needed to believe in him.

Have to agree WR would be gone if Everton came calling certainly if they do end up relegated,Now our fate as been settled he would have nothing to stay for and turning down a interview before makes him very much respectedful in my eyes to Derby players and all the staff

There should be no reason why we cannot renew contracts once Kirchner's plan is approved by EFL. We have proof of funding as Kirchner has said he will fund us after 7 May.

Quite correct there is no problem in offering players an official pre contract to run from 1st July we will then see how many players are serious about staying, players who Wayne wants to keep are contracted until the 30th June anyway so lets get the takeover done and dusted so we can move forward
