I have feeling no ones coming until firstly,  this mess about which division were playing in is sorted out. Then the sale/future of the club is resolve and finally the position of the manager and the playing staff whose contracts are expiring.

Yes i think you are correct, the concern is its unlikely to get resolved right up to the deadline of the EFL wanted us to resubmit our accounts before this is all sorted the season would of started and we are not aloud to do any business under embargo

Seems like we’ve also provisionally been entered into this as well

our group is in the southern section

Group ? MK Dons, Burton Albion, Wycombe Wanderers/Derby County, Aston Villa Under-21s

Think this just shows were the EFL are determined to make a case against us come what may, think its league 1 for us guys, the longer this drags on the worse this will become, what a absolute joke this season ends up if we play a couple of games in the Champioship then still get found guilty and end up swapping with Wycombe

This is a crazy mess and if its relegation i do know fear administration

  3. I think we all need to use the panic button to be fair lets not kid ourselves here we are in a mess, even if we produce accounts for the three years we are being asked to submit again the time scale will mean the season is upon us with no new signings with a bang average squad at best,we cant even resign Waghorn so no doubt he will look for a new club now

I would rather just take the relegation on the chin and crack on,the EFL making two lots of fixtures is a absolute joke no player will want to even join us with all this going on at present

Bielik should be sold purely because of the risk factor for injuries from now on when he is sellable.- Clarke just isn’t good enough for the premiership and Brighton don’t need him but weather we can get him again is another matter.

Both possible a true point, however trying to sell Beilik we would get a fraction of what we payed for him given his injuries he needs to get fit and show some form first and if Brighton decide to sell Clarke they would look to recoup around 3.5M for him which will probably be way out of our remit

  5. Love to get Adam Armstrong from Blackburn buts thats not going to happen

Mentioned a few times to go and get Barry Bannan always looks to play a forward pass its immaterial whether he as signed a new contract thats just so Weds can ask more money for him,a 2 year deal still playing in the Championship should do it and always liked Joss Windass also

We can’t afford the likes of Malone though it’s the kids and senior professionals without clubs who will play for the type of money they are not used to receiving as in much smaller amounts

Im not saying get rid of them, they will be good squad players for sureand agree they are still young in a difficult season

Lets hope the take over does happen as need hardened championship players,we certainly need two central defenders as i doubt Matt Clarke will be released for a third season and dont get me started about Wisdom,Edmonson will go back to Rangers but could come back on the cheap,we also need better cover for Beilik as i can see him being the next George Thorne

If we sell the youngsters we really are in trouble in terms of a promising team

Thats all well and good if there good enough,Bird,Sibley and Knight have all flattered to deceive this season and both Buchanan and Forsyth have been outshone by Malone at Millwall with goals and assists.

When you look at potential in a player then look at Hughes and Hendrick now we are talking about youthful potential

We need at least 7 decent signings this summer if not more to give us a squad that is big enough to come with a full season,

Rotherham losing again is a big bonus for us.  They now only have one game in hand and are 4 points behind us, although their GD is still better than ours.  They can only catch us if they get 4 points out of 9 and we don't get any more points.

Wycombe can't catch us unless they win both games with big scores and we lose both ours, also with big scores.

Sheff Wed have the same GD as us and can only catch us if they win both their 2 games and we don't get any more points.

This weekend could therefore see all this resolved, but I wouldn't be surprised if we do end up in a last day shoot out with Sheff Wed or Rotherham or even both for the prize of staying up.

A point against Swansea would really help to make the last day shoot out less likely, so come Saturday that's what I'll be praying for, along with Sheff Wed & Rotherham not getting 3 points.  If that's the outcome then we're safe unless Rotherham win their last 2 games.

Sheff Weds dont need to win both games if we lose at Swansea a draw for them against Forest and any win against us see them on the same points but they will by then have a better goal difference than us by virtue of us losing our last two games

The Wendies are at Boro on Sat don't forget. If we beat Brum and the Wendies lose at Boro, the last game is irrelevant to them, albeit it could still be very important to us.

Agree yes however we have to win thats the concern and Sheff Weds last home game is Forest i think we can all see what may happen there

I think i said in my original messege how big this game is if we fail to win and Weds get a result at Middlesborough things change again its game on

  10. So after lasts nights Rotherham game we have been handed yet another chance to secure our future, this Saturdays game is now a must win for me as i dont think we will get anything from Swansea and if Sheff Wed beat Forest at home like i think they will it will be a final game showdown with them and given how we are performing at present i do not fancy our chances

If Birmingham and Coventry win today then it will probably be a two horse race. Rovrum v Rams. Looking bleak unless we can get 7 more points imo.

To be honest given our form i think its been a two horse race for a while for the last relegation spot,I hope Birmingham do win today which leaves us with a better chance i think of staying up,win the two homes games we are on 49pts that would leave Rotherham 6 games to get 11 points which is a big ask, maybe 10 if goal difference plays a part

However given our form its a big ask to win our two home games

Well it was in our own hands and isn’t now.  Bit sad you want to revel in our position but so be it

Its not a matter of reveling in anything were all Derby fans at the end of the day,its the people on here who constantly have got there head in the sand thinking were to good to go down

We have just lost (Again) to a side in worse form than us and that takes some doing,i thought we may sneak a draw last night even more so scoring first.I just hope from the last 4 games we can somehow muster 4-5 points from those games to at least give us a chance

Well it was. But now it isn't. I really thought we'd win this one. Now I am very concerned for the first time this season. We just have to hope results go our way, if Rotherham beat Birmingham it's in our hands again. If Birmingham win it gives Rotherham more of a mountain to climb.

True enough Rammy but i dont fancy us even beating Birmingham in a winner takes all match,i much rather they win at Rotherham which keeps the gap the same as it was before tonight's game and the game against Birmingham certainly for them will mean slightly less as they will already be on 48 points if they do

  14. Well Well Well all you lot on here that thought its all in our hands have gone quiet

Its been abundantly clear for some time we have to hope one more team other than Wycombe and Sheff Wed have a worse end of season than us to save us

If we do go down forget the promise of big spending there is even a tighter FFP that wont allow it

Having watched the Rotherham v Coventry game live on sky sports tonight, I'm covinced that Rotherham deserve to go down. Their Thug Football and not being able to string more than 3 passes together does not deserve to be in the 2nd teir of English football. Well to be honest they did put 6 passes together in the 77th minute on just the one occasion. But their pushing of Coventry players off the ball and fouls that the poor Ref did not give to Coventry was terrible. Not a shot on target and a keeper who saved them at least 3 times could have given them a worse goal diff than the Rams. I feel with their remaining fixtures, if they don't win on Sunday against Birmingham they are sunk (regardless of their 2 games in hand).

Can I remind the Rams fans who still feel that Rotherham can escape, the stats dont lie. They have lost 22 games (only Wycombe have lost more) and they have done that in 39 matches compared with most of the rest who have played 41 games. Yes, they have scored 41 goals, thats better than 6 teams above them, but conceding 53 goals is only worse by than 3 teams above them in the table. A small squad with 7 games to play in 21 days is a tall order and with 2 teams to play in the top 6 in their remaing fixiures does'nt bode well. And just to remind you, Rotherham have only won ONCE over the current top 10 teams and in their remaining games, they have 4 fixtures against top 10 teams.

Its more likely the back log of games that may well be Rotherham undoing as agreed they looked poor last night, not forgetting though they have beat us twice without conceding a goal, just saying.

Lets not kid ourselves here were in the poo with 5 games to save ourselves with the worst scoring record in the division

Birmingham are 2 points above us with the same number of games played. If we match them over all the games and beat them at home we go above them.

Form team Birmingham they will be fine 3 wins and a draw in last 5

I think we all agree Sheff Weds and Wycombe look like goners,so its one team from 4 for me,Hudds no win in five and away at Florest this week could be the team

  17. 33 minutes ago, Srg said:

It isn't in our own hands. If Coventry beat Rotherham tomorrow, they'll have played the same games as us and be above, with Rotherham 4 points behind with 2 games in hand.

    Comman sense at last

It wasn't wrong. It IS in our hands. If we win all our games we finish above Wycombe, Sheff Weds and Birmingham regardless of what Rovrum and Coventry do.

Really, we are going to win our last 5 games were running on average a point a game at best with the worst goal scoring record in the league only equaled by Wycombe even Rotherham have scored 11 more than us
