Heard ages ago that he didn’t want to stay here. Wasn’t so much Notts County (in spite of his nice message), more that he doesn’t want to play for Paul Warne. Was the case with many of our targets in January as well. Players don’t like his management style.
This isnt what ive heard.

The contract by Notts is two-year with a clause that will make him a "Youth Ambassador" after he retires with the club, giving him pathway into youth coaching which is what he intends to do once retiring, especially with Notts as it's boyhood club.
This bit is true, he isnt driven by the money but by what he can do in the future. I have also heard this part from someone that would know.

Can’t you arrange a night out together and slip him a B and Q garden furniture voucher to tip the balance ?
I even increased the offer to a patio set from trowell garden centre, he declined.

I'm not sure Notts County link has anything to it. I could be wrong, but I just don't see it for a few reasons:
1) County have put some effort in to developing younger players, i.e. Rodrigues, Langstaff, Scott, etc. They do have a couple of players over 30, but I feel like McGoldrick doesn't fit their current recruitment model. Obviously, McGoldrick IS McGoldrick which leads me to my next point.
2) David McGoldrick at Derby County can probably earn somewhere in the region of £500k next season. Notts County's highest earner is probably sat somewhere around the £200k mark. They may pay him more, but ultimately he's going to be taking roughly 50% wage cut to join a newly promoted team to League 2.
3) McGoldrick supports Notts County as a club, sure, but the club and the people within the club are two very different entities. In reality, who a player supports, has very little bearing on any decision on their future. How well would he get on with the players, managers, etc.
To me, it seems very unlikely that he would turndown £10k a week (roughly) here after arguably his best season in professional football for 4-5k a week at Notts County. Again, I could be wrong but I think it's a bit of a fantasist suggestion that's grew legs.
Your points are good, but he has had meetings with Notts and I know this is 100% true. But as Big Trav has said not agreement with any team yet.

Ive heard McGoldrick is also interested in a a player coach role

All the press releases are hot air and bluster. Deal will be completed by 1pm tomorrow. CK will own the club.
Is this just a guess? Or ITK?

Have I missed any ITK info, been at a wedding. Thanks in advance.

Most likely in a few years all the truth will come out about the admins. They are still heavily influenced by a certain man connected to the club
They sadly don’t have a choice, the man owns the stadium and can call back 120m in loans. He has them over a barrel.

If I had £1 for everybody who posted this exact comment in this thread, I'd have bought the club myself ?
I don’t get why people compare our takeover or admin to anyone else’s. It’s been said enough times that this is the most complex that has happened in the football world.

CK is in Dubai, he's had all day to comment and he has chosen to stay silent. It says it all for me.
When did he go to Dubai? He has been in London all day.

I'm sure I saw a tweet from Kirchner a couple of weeks ago (before he cleared out his old account) where he showed a photo of damage to the front wheel assembly after air traffic control at the airfield it was parked at had it moved and it slipped off the edge of the hardstanding. If so, it's likely THAT plane is being repaired, if I've not misinterpreted what I saw.
He did, some also put on here the registration of the plane, it ended in ck.

So er…Barry isn’t the only “ITK” claiming two bids, there’s another forum where they are even claiming a PB is in place with the hint to who it is.
Scoffers gonna scoff but hopefully things are moving
(Better put the ITK between quotations before some pedantic bugger makes out that I 100% believe everything Barry writes!)
What was the hint from the other forum?

Do clubs get any money for being on the red button?

The byline on that story has now been changed. Not Nixon who is adamant rich is still in
Think you mixing that up with the Burnley story. The Derby one is still Nixons story.

If the Matt Slater take doing the rounds on Twitter is true then the EFL stance is as they say 'against statute' but they've not changed their own rules.
So perhaps more a case of not realising how 'inefficient' the EFL are than ignoring them?
What is Matt's take, I've not anything on twitter yet.

Interesting how polarizing of a figure Lawrence still is. Finds himself in the bottom of some people's ratings and top in others. I thought he looked excellent tonight.
That's what I was just about to put, he had such a good game he deserved a goal.
