I love how, in the face of adversary the nay sayers come out. Oh so quiet when it goes well.

Obviously dodged a bullet. The lad has no ambition.

Genuine question - what is it?
I once asked for this at a chippy in Carterton near Brize Norton. After the puzzled faces, I explained what it was and the staff were positively repulsed.
My Mates soon cottoned on and asked for it every time we were in town.
Very nice

How has the grass got in such poor nick if the ball isn't ever touching it....🤔
Isn't it obvious? If the ball is in the air, the players have to jump. That causes damage in the push off and landing.
I am surprised it isn't un playable after the last couple of games.

It looks like it’s a three quarters of the squad out thread.
Let's go the whole hog, get Mel back in charge and we can get rid of Derby. That is the only way some on here would be happy.

If you are of a certain age and followed your team away you were pretty much herded to safety in numbers
Hmm. I am of a certain age and went away. Fortunately managed to miss most of it. However I do know where you are coming from.

Just ask a boxer why he gets in the ring or a motorcycle rider why he goes round the track at 200 mph,
then add the fact that the people your with become second family and you’ve just about covered it 🤷♂️
Adrenalin and tribalismITK? You come across as someone with experience

It is a win win situation. Keep him for 2 years, not a bad prospect. Keep him for one and a potential sell on fee (if he is still playing well). If someone comes in for him now, the fee should be a lot higher given form and contract length. Might just be the push for others to sign as well. Can't really see a negative.

Ask yourself this. If we get to the final, would you go? If the answer is yes, then maybe it is worth it. I am sure, if the management team were not bothered about the competition, then it may be obvious in the team selection.

Proper homer of a referee
I won't have anything said about the ref. He has played very well for Fleetwood so far.

I know the response to this will be "it's a forum, why can't people have opinons" but the matchday thread would be much more interesting and readable without the stream of drivel from the same 2 or 3 posters.
Some just want him to fail. So they can say. "Told you so".

Whilst I would love an unbeaten January with most being wins. The so called stats suggest we shouldn't have too much trouble.
However, trap a rat in a corner and it will go for the throat. Lincoln and Fleetwood are fighting for their league 1 survival and will attack (we are not good when a bullying team attacks) Throw in Burton who are not only struggling just above the drop zone but also see us as the local scalp. So you can throw your stats out of the window I am afraid. Seen it all too often.
Having said that I really hope for at least 12 points, but I doubt it will be as easy as 'we are the better team and should be beating all of these'
