LauraH reacted to lrm14 in Billy Sharp Chants
You're speaking as if they're going to just turn and say, "Oh my good sir, I do apologise for the offensive chants. I had no idea it was causing you so much distress. I will now continue consuming my vast quanitites of cocaine and alcohol while standing here peacefully."
I'm not getting filled in for telling a group of coked up lads to stop a dodgy chant, it's not my job and it's not worth it. In no way does that make me 'part of the problem', genuinely ludicrous take and such a polarising position does nothing to get people on your side.

Again in their defence Angie, it is becoming increasingly clear that the replies are now scripted. They are answering every reply which is good PR, but the team that are replying have probably 10 stock sentences which they can choose to use to answer the expected questions. I think given the volume of people emailing them, a fair % being less that courteous, random emailers can’t expect any more. Now RamsTrust ought to be able to get a more nicely worded response from the EFL, as our formal representative group, but so far since Thursday their silence has been golden.

That's your opinion.
Obviously the people singing it disagree with you and people like me don't really give a toss about songs upsetting opposition players even if we don't always agree with them.

Who's trying to defend it?
It's always happened and it always will, but some people seem to be more sensitive to stuff like this since it stopped being mainly working class men filling the ground.

LauraH got a reaction from Derby4Me in The Administration Thread
Nixon is simply unable to run a story on Derby without adding some fear and uncertainty. It's a relatively positive story so to even things up he added some totally unnecessary detail about Curtis having a release clause but crucially no detail on if he actually wants wants leave or if another club has offered him a deal.
It's honestly pathetically predictable reporting.

Nice info.
Where has that come from? Obviously not expecting you to name your source but is it a trusted one?

If Ashley is talking to Gibson it's likely to consist of 'drop your claim or I will sue the arse off you when I take over Derby'!

Alan Nixon now stating Mike Ashley is planning talks with EFL and Boro. Apparently Appleby and co want it to go to court of arbitration for sport - sounds like plausible stories. At least it’s a slightly positive one for a change. (Whether true or guesswork).

Do you mean the "Derby fans are on a bender...." one? No it has nothing to do with his child. What's made you ask that?
It's a stupid chant though.

At the end of the day football fans up and down the country chant stupid thing. Don't even know why this is being discussed. Reeks of SU and Sharp being sore losers tbh. From what I've read they thought they were nailed on for 3pts.
