When you pick up your work mug, only to see someone has wrote 'I love c0ck' on the underneath in black marker!
You change it to I love DCFC, only to find it reads 'I love D1ck' next break!
Knowing who the culprit is, you pick up his Stainless steel thermos mug, and realising it has a black bottom decide to write the most offensive sexual swear word on the bottom in Tipp-Ex, only to watch in horror as the female company secretary picks the mug up and walks back to the office with it!
I should add, this was in response to me writing 'You Rams' on the bottom of the works director's Florest mug earlier in the week, so I only have myself to blame for my pending unemployment!

Simon Dawkins for a return anyone? A McClaren player if there ever was one: skilful, comfortable on the ball and knows his job, especially when coming on at the end to protect a lead by just keeping hold of the ball. I would love to see Dawks strutting his stuff in a Derby shirt again. A truly lovely football player.

All great points MR. Cyclists are active people and benefitting the environment.
I had little knowledge of the actual 'laws of the road, when it comes to cyclists and what they are legally entitled to do and not do so it's good you pointed a few things out. Perhaps most motorists don't know either and better education and understanding between the two would help matters.
I am very patient and courteous when it comes to cyclists. I in fact was knocked off my bike by a lorry in my younger days and the driver left me and a mangled bike in a crumpled heap at the side of the road so I'm in no way pro motorist.
I think like most things with me I just expect to be afforded a little bit of consideration as I do to others , regardless of 'entitlement' and to be spoken to properly and in a non threatening manner if I have a perfectly well delivered and polite question to ask.
Maybe it's not a case of cyclist v motorist after all but just another example of how nasty we've all become in society. Just that incidents involving these two parties inexplicably bring out the worst in folk when really we should be giving and taking and getting together to improve relations.
There clearly is a 'them and us' attitude on the roads and it's from both sides.

Takes me ages to overtake even if its safe to do so. The wife thinks i'm being very sensible....

Cyclists are ok, they're entitled to the same amount of space as a car, according to my CBT examiner many moons ago.
Only when they're using a newly widened, 3 lane highway with a no cycling sign on it, because of the adjoining cycle path, are you permitted to mow them down.
So far this week I've hit 3, which ain't bad going for a Monday.

Cyclist are like the left wing of politics. A lot of them are decent people with a method of getting from A to B and would like everyone to share it. It might not be all that practical but the intent is good and sound. Then there are the militants who hate everyone who isn't like them and give no quarter regardless of circumstances. 

Sunday morning Tour De France wannabes who insist of sitting three abreast of each other so you have to sit behind their day-glo, lycra clad arses for a mile while they practice their slip streaming.  Utter tossers!!!

I only partially agree.
Playing devil's advocate - anyone who considers themselves a right-leaning exponent of free market capitalistm would have a hard job denying that they aren't just providing high-value, high-demand goods/services at the maximum profit levels that the market will support. They have identified a market and are servicing that market in a very profitable way. If the market didn't exist then neither would they. That's the Tory dream isn't it?
However, you're right that, in reality,  even the most ardent Thatcherite can see that their business model is abhorrent to human decency. Which suggests that even Tories hav a red line when it comes to shafting the poor!

This forum .. No I really mean it. I am conversing on a regular basis with folk from numerous different backgrounds and with political, social and sporting beliefs that aren't the same. Yet we all get on pretty damn well. There is a fantastic, fun, sometimes combative exchange of opinion but always in a brilliantly open self policed way. Yeah, we have our "mates" of like mind but it is great to come across a different view and have your own shifted just a few degrees because someone has made you think outside your own boundaries. 
Jeees I really am thinking of parting with some folding stuff as a gesture of support and become a plus or whatever it is.

Football brain of Pirlo, football skills of Palmer, talks dirty like Nigella

Unspoken "sharing" of a milli second of life with your fellow human beings .. I was sitting in a queue of traffic a couple of summers back .. Failed traffic lights or something .. Watching the world go by as we crept forward inch by inch. Then walking on the pavement a pretty woman strolling along with a smile and suitably summer clothes. ....Just nice to see, in a none pervy but defo  masculine appreciation of the fairer sex sort of way .. Then looking in my mirror to see the bloke behind me had seen the same .. And eyes met with a grin of brotherly acknowledgment .. A kind of "I thought the same mate"
