  1. Back in the baseball ground / early pride park days you had to apply by post for your away tickets.

required was a short note stating how may tickets you wanted and who they were for

a stamped, self addressed envelope to get your tickets back in

a cheque, sometimes blank as you didn't know if you would be getting 1 or 2 tickets for games like Forest

    the good old days

  2. Theres an email someone’s put on Twitter stating no away memberships for the foreseeable future.

whilst I don’t agree with the scheme (ST + number of games much fairer) if we had 1500 away members paying £40 that’s 60k in the bank. Can we afford to turn that money down?

suppose it’s not that much in the scheme of things and you can just add 60k onto someone’s transfer fee

it's what are those savings for though?

What if you use £1000 of savings to buy season tickets and then your boiler needs replacing, car needs major work or you lose your job. Where do you go then?

as context I used just under 10% of my savings for 3 season tickets. I would rather not have done but I read the DD issue as not something that would be resolved before July 29th, it looks as though it may be but that's not confirmed yet.

I was willing to outlay now as I'm fairly confident i can replace the savings within 2 months, and as now new STHs I wanted certain part of the ground. I certainly wouldn't have used 25/50% of savings if that's what I had so can see why many are holding out for DD.

So whilst many probably have savings, is something like a season ticket what they are saved for?

  4. Does anyone know the east stand block / seat number cut off when we have give more than 3300 in the cup?

    Found it

Due to Manchester United requesting their full allocation of tickets (15% of stadium capacity in accordance with Emirates FA Cup regulations), seats numbered 373 or higher in the Upper Tier and seats numbered 377 or higher in the Lower Tier of the Atlas Building & Civil Engineering East Stand will not be available to home supporters. All other stands will be open as usual.

  5. On the no DD option…..In current times of financial hardship for many I don’t think the best advice is telling people to take out credit cards. Whilst the principal is the same in paying it back, the temptation or necessity to use is it for other things is there.

When I read the press release I assumed it wouldn’t be an option all season, not something they were hoping to have in place. Some clarity on that would be useful so people know where they stand and can decide what to do.

Match by match for now could be an option for some and then look at a half season ticket with Christmas money.

  6. as the business owner (Clowes) would you prefer for people to pay upfront or pay slightly more over direct debit?

all ticket office staff have been asked to go in tomorrow apparently, not sure if thats to start selling or maybe learn pricing structure/sale methods
