When France are playing, half time analysis is 14 mins of adverts solid followed by a 30 secs "detailed" analysis of the first half by Deschamp. By this I mean 1 question and answer from the on field reporter " Didier, what did you make of the 1st half?"

You also refer to a common false equivalence in the Mail & the Guardian - You may or may not like the tone of the Guardian but it is a serious newspaper where the Mail, erm, isn't. I mean, it's kind of famous for its sidebar of shame isn't it.
Back (nearly) on topic though, the BBC have been in the govt crosshairs for some time, not necessarily because of any perceived political or idealogical bias (although the latter clearly pays a part with regard to their funding) but because a network that is reporting in a balance manner is clearly still going to be critical of the 2019-2022 government because, regardless of your political leanings, it did leave itself wide open to such criticism.
I dearly hope that local radio survives intact, it's really important, it is a force for good that that sits away from the forces of revenue and profit.

Yes and yes. For me it is quite simple, I know it won't stop me getting Covid or flu but if I get it should be milder. I may be right (or wrong) but I think that is the idea with those vaccines.

Not saying I’m obsessed or anything but my daughter buys me a real coconut every year for my birthday (amongst other things usually ?). It started out as a bit of a joke but I’d be disappointed now if I didn’t get one.
