So, it's not just going to be dull Pogacar eases to victory after all.
3 HC climbs today finishing on the legendary Alp D'huez.
Can jumbo visma keep Jonas in yellow, can Pogacar and UAE fight back, will ineos show their hand after Thomas placed himself back in contention?
All this and more as sport's greatest doping laboratory grinds its way through ever more beautiful mountains and ever more exotic chemical compounds.
I watched all the stages last week and thought it was a shoe in for Pogacar.
I missed the last 2 stages and looks like I've missed a couple of crackers.
I'll have to see if I can get them on catch up.
Le Tour seems a bit more low profile in the UK media this year. Maybe because Cav isn't there and theres no real GC contender, or perhaps the wall to wall coverage of the Euro's has taken its place.

There is no excuse for that... May as well all call ourselves French and be done with it. ?
I thought you were unlucky last week. The scoreboard didn't reflect the performance.
I think all 4 games next week will be cagey, tight affairs.

Oh well, he will do well at Rangers.
Was resigned to him leaving a long time ago. A bit surprised rangers are gazumping on wages, suggests he'll be a big a deal for them.
They will have the Aribo money and potentially Morelos to replace.

Pesticides. I blame the greens. Was it always the problem on the west coast?
Must be something to do with the additional rainfall in the West encouraging certain flora amongst the countryside that attract the Midge's.
I've never seen one on the East.
Maybe our local West coast expert will put us straight @RadioactiveWaste.

When is that mate? Been planning a road trip starting at my friends' place in the Lakes then driving the West coast as far as it goes but it'd be nice if it didn't involve being bitten to death.
I'm an East coaster (midge free), but summer holidays to the West Highlands in July as a kid involved lots of failed attempts to swat them away.
July and Aug seem the worst months.

Hope you managed to get round the West Coast before the midgie's came out to play.
Enjoy Glasgow, fantastic city. Totally different to Edinburgh. Not as pleasing on the eye, but more down to earth.

He'll be brought in as No1 because Lewis had a poor season last year.
In terms of wages, Aberdeen have brought in a fair bit of cash recently due to Ramsey going to Liverpool. Forest getting promoted meant £1m from McKenna's transfer clause. The club have probably thrown a decent wage at Kelle to get a decent keeper in.
I'm still suprised he's gone North, I thought a championship side would have snapped him up.

Brummies chase down 211 with ease to beat Northants go up to 2nd.
They made that last 5 overs look ridiculously easy.
Did feel a bit for the young spinner going for 60 off his 4 overs and giving away the last 3 runs on the boundary via a miss field.

Cans of Neck oil, by beavertown.
Lovely IPA that some pubs have on tap.

It lowers expectations going into the world cup, which can't be a bad thing.
This result will be long forgotten about come November.
Club football will be weird come Oct / Nov. How many players will have an eye on the upcoming world cup and maybe take things easy to hold back for their country.

I don’t understand what is in it for Chris Kirchner to attempt to buy the club if he doesn’t have the funds. Why go through all this? If he has funds tied up and can’t budge then that’s another matter.
It gives him a profile in the UK. No publicity is bad publicity.
He seems the sort that likes hanging about and getting seen with famous people. Today being the prime example.

Is it just my TV or is the England kit a shade of Sky blue?

Inter Malamb and Byron Munich
Byron is an area in Aberdeen.

I watched Blue Story at the weekend.
Black on black gang wars in South London. It was the film that was withdrawn from some cinemas because of gang trouble at the cinema when it was released.
Anyway, it's got a few of the Top Boy cast in it.
Its apparently based on the writers early life. it's a decent film.
Jeff Hendrick 7/10.

Thought you were ?. Joking aside, Haring is tailor made for L1, and Seigrist is a very good keeper.
