I won't hide the fact that I take ENORMOUS pleasure in seeing Bristol City and Middlesborough mentioned in that article. ?

    … and;
The club don’t own Moor Farm, but rent it from the Locko Estate (as far as I know, but might be wrong). It’s also is in the Green Belt, so while housing can’t be absolutely ruled out it, it wouldn’t be straight forward.
My guess is that the stadium would be worthless in terms of redevelopment. The costs of demolition would be significant and can’t see it being worth it for a few low value industrial sheds (really can’t see it ever going for housing for various reasons and the market for massive supermarkets is long gone).

I suspect Gibson knows that - it's such a paper-thin "trumped-up" charge that has more holes than a Swiss cheese - but he is demanding the EFL takes it seriously to delay the process of coming out of Administration; he is behaving like a totally vindictive barsteward. How will the EFL deal with this? I'm not confident they will choose wisely based on their previous...

Mel actually said no such thing, and it was him that would not entertain the idea of suing QPR. It was simply supporters who made the joke about the EFL as the independent DC found largely (in the first case) in our favour and as such not surprisingly the Fans were happy. If Clubs actions were based on how other teams supporters acted, then we would surely sue QPR for their fans constant baiting with the "oh Bobby Zamora" song...but that would be ridiculous and childish as a reason for action or inaction...Wouldn't it?

Why wouldn't you want a 'better/cheaper deal'? Only Mel wanted to pay extra! ?

You make it sound as if writing off debt never happens. The HMRC can’t  have something that just isn’t there, just the same as any other creditor. It’s what limited liability means. It’s what businesses revolve around the world over.

The HMRC are in business like anyone else. They will get what they can from the mess without bias, politics, agendas or anything else.

Covid probably meant they let the debt grow more  than it would have in another world, but that would have been their decision or under agreement with various authorities from govt to the league.

I think Knight will be sold for around £2 million in Jan. We need CASH up front in order to pay bills and clubs will take advantage of this. Were we trading normally i`m sure we would get 5-8 Million but that would be paid in instalments as is the norm.
our situation right now means that beggars cant be choosers

You wont be able to build houses on PP. Its categorised as a business park I believe so you could only turn it into factories/warehouses/hotels/offices etc.

Well everyone seems to be wallowing in the worst case scenario.
I will keep enjoying the football, paying my money into the club and wait to see what happens.
    Merry Christmas

As a preferred creditor they are entitled to more than normal creditors.
Generally in football admins 25% is the usual payout so theoretically we could offer HMRC 26% and we are still within the rules as "Preferring" them

Msd have first dibs , then arsenal etc footballing creditors , then Hmrc and then the rest. Oh and then Mel. And finally Gibson and the Wycombe guy. At which point well those last three can go whistling in the wind.

Have you really heard this rumour from a “reliable” source or has someone just made the story up?
Even if it were true, why would they be asking the EFL? As I understand it, the EFL only consists of The Championship, League 1 and League 2. There is no way that a brand new club would join the football pyramid anywhere near any of those levels.

Someone with a little more knowledge explain this to me -
Boro sue us as the missed out on the play offs due to us falling fouls of ffp. Following that logic is it feasible we could sure both QPR and Villa?

Two little bits of his twerk stand out. His thanks to Wayne and I will be back in a few weeks. Look like hints that he is confident that he will be the one buying the club saying he will be back and he appears to be the only one who has spoken to the manager. How else can he form a business plan without that meeting

But isn't he in with Sam Rush? If you don't like the Rooney/Kirchner relationship then surely the Rush/Wasserman relationship should be just as worrying. In fact, it's partially to blame for putting us in this mess in the first place.
