My 15 year old had a mate stop last night called Will Smith!!
I told him I loved the Fresh Prince and Independence Day but he's had too many turkeys since.
They weren't amused.

Me too ! Lol .. Always grumpy when it's getting ahead of me and then when it's all cut I can stand back and be master of all I survey.,it's like being in the play off places and with a game in hand

I know it's daft but I love the Johnny Russell heartbeat song, I've just been to Sainsburies for the weekly shop and have been humming it tunelssly on auto repeat for half an hour. Thank God my wife wasn't with me I'd have suffered a serious injury

Not so much annoying as rather sad and disturbing ... The apps that change your face in photos, via minor distortions and reforming. Not as a joke but seriously. 
My niece does it and it seems most of her friends and contemporaries seem to as well.  Thinning out faces, making eyes bigger, airbrushed skin and then they put them on Facebook like "this is me" There is something slightly creepy about it. Bothers me that so many seem unhappy with their own faces and it goes beyond just a bit of slap and wanting to look your best which we all do.  
or am I Just an old goat ?

When you have a moment of inspiration and write the most erudite, amazingly constructed, intelligent, hilarious post....and not one person likes or comments on it.
Later on still sulking you simply post 'Martin had a reasonable game ' and get 10 likes...WTF!

Usually straight after each other, followed by a daft smile and shrug of the shoulders. 
Plus, people at my work, supposedly professionals, in the 25 - 35 age bracket that speak like they are straight from the ghetto, innit, you get me........
