If you actually go back over the posts, I made a single post to the effect that I would prefer another owner to Ashley. That's all I said. I then came in for a torrent of abuse - much from people I expect more from - accusing me of not wanting the club to survive and so on.
So, all I was doing was answering those over-the-top condemnations. I was not on any bandwagon. I was not harping on. I was merely trying to defend myself in the face of the abuse.
As I have said several times now, if Ashley saves our club, I will be eternally grateful.
EDIT: just to add one more thing, I have already agreed there are few, if any, ethical entrepreneurs who could afford a football club, so I couldn't possibly name an alternative.
FYI: there were issues with Mother Theresa but.... Let's not go there ?

I have already said that very few wealthy entrepreneurs, if any, have a clean ethical record.
I have no idea of the dealings of other potential buyers but Ashley's practices are in the public domain.
We are both agreed that the important thing - to all of us - is that the club is saved and continues to exist.
Now, please drop it and don't do like you did over Cocu and harp on about it in each and every one of your posts. It spoils what are, otherwise, good and interesting arguments. Thank you.

I agree with @IslandExile Not a fan of Ashley, but most likely he'll be the best of the worst options. 
Hopefully, everything is done quickly and we could disagree about a football once again.

Haven't you noticed that whenever there's a public enquiry about anything, actions of the police, NHS, councils etc. the statement put out is always "since the events mentioned, we have adopted new working practices"?

He also knows how to get a club relegated. Without the assistance of a hefty points deduction. Also proven. 
I mean honestly, he won't personally be running anything at dcfc. So who's he going to put in to do that job and will the plan bear any resemblance to Newcastle?
To my mind there's no more relevance than saying that Mel Morris is a business genius cos he knows a money making app when he sees one...... 
I'm not saying he would definitely be a disaster. But there should be a decent level of critical analysis applied to any deal, Ashley included.

He was second half of last season….some of the worst football and performances I have ever seen. Doing better this season. He would get an interview for the Manager’s job if I was the new owner ??
