Promising career ruined by injuries is seemingly the story for TJJ but I don't think we should punt on him staying fit next season. It would be nice for him if he can play next week but we've got to get a job done first.
-
The bit where he says he's going to throw the players into the pit of the sarlak to be slowly digested over a thousand years was one of the best motivational speeches I've seen from any manager.

Match Thread: Cambridge United (a)

Same. A job to do, get it done. They can party all they like once promotion is actually achieved. -
@RoyMac5 can use whatever pronouns he/she wants! I frequently go by LLW or sometimes ILW, or if I'm sad, VLLW.

Trying to poach egg realted puns is a fools errand.

I'll be honest, I do hope Bolton get up (THROUGH THE PLAY OFFS) - it's been a long road back for them from near destruction and I've nothing against them as a club.

I might be cynical, but, does that mean sky are saying "all the matches are ours and are restricted"? -
Give it up with your poultry attempts at humour!

Perhaps we need to produce a pamphlet "accepting Paul Warne" or "How to be open to the light of Paul Warne's Derby County " Bobble hatted missionaries going across the country, spreading the good news of Derby's promotion, starting places of worship for converts...

Where do you think we'll finish this season?
RadioactiveWaste replied to IslandExile's topic in Derby County Forum
Where will we end the season? A lunatic asylum most likely. -

I'm sure they used to do beamback away games where they opened the concourse, so it certainly could be done. I don't know if there's issues with getting EFL or Cambridge agreed to it though? -
I seem to remember that being Bolton's kind of crowd even back before their "troubled times"

It other news, Rotherham have appointed Steve Evans the Hutt as their manager, presumably having put salt down around Stevenage.

Or as Napoleon asked of his generals "is he lucky"?

Never tried it, I probably don't need to now.

Cambridge 0-1 Derby Collins "I thought they were very nervy before the kick off and it showed for the first half hour or so but once we got that out of systems we played okay. No I haven't seen the other results I was just so wound up towards the end there but it's clear from the fans reaction that things have gone in our favour today"

The continued existence of carling baffles me.

Long as he does the decent thing and rests all his players for the last two.

Here we were all secure in our belief that Derby are uniquely able to screw up important games.....

Let's hope the mood on the Bolton forum later is:

There's always the what are we (well, the manager) asking them to do side with the older players, NML can still do a job in the championship but I'm not sure we could lean on him the same way we have done in league 1.

League Table since October defeat at Stevenage
RadioactiveWaste replied to SamUltraRam's topic in Derby County Forum
I'm pretty sure they'd be hilariously unrealistic about just how they'd do the championship (oh the good players will stay because they love forest, the bad players will be sold for huge profits, everyone will feel privileged to play at the "world famous" city ground " etc etc... -
If they stay up they'll no doubt be spending the big bucks on brining back Jessie tiktok.

The perfect revenge on Stephen Mr Gibson Steve......

I'm stuck onsite with a "big rangers man" at the moment. Most amusing moment was the Asian security guard asking him where he's from, and, if he's russian. Couldn't help himself with the "ah, but your in-laws, are they Celtic or rangers....."
