  1. Man United have taken the Spurs crown of being the team that underperforms come what may.
  2. He also threw in a warne-ism about handing back his car keys if he hadn't, which i took to be tounge in cheek.
  3. Do Bolton have a disappointing draw in them still? You have to wonder if there's a bit of the Bolton psyche that says today was the day if they were going to do it, and not winning portsmouth taks the wind out of them, the comments in the match thread suggest that Bolton gave it everything today.
  4. I know the goals came from corners, but we crested some very good chances in open play, and apart from a period in the second half we pretty much dominated the game and 3-0 reflects that. No complacancy, just 2 games more like that and no more room for Northampton and wycombe chuck it in performances.
  5. So, until we disappointingly draw our next game..................... The rams are going up!
  6. Us missing chances always worries me.....
  7. Just control what we can control, get this game won and hopefully help the goal difference a bit. We can't do anything else but hope that Pompey have a good second half.
  8. Sonny Bradley....all is not quite forgiven but that's a good moment towards it.
  9. I still think Paul Warne is more comfortable and his virtues more evident when it's an underdog situation - getting the squad to stick together and believe in each other, work hard, be fitter, know how we're defending x,y,z the other team try to do (etc) which you need if you're trying to stay up but aren't super exciting when you're supposed to be dominating most games and rolling over lesser teams. I also feel like that's where some of the disgruntlement with him stems from, we're supposed to be the big fish in this little league 1 pond. Partly because of that I feel like he'd actualy be OK with us in the championship as we look to consolidate. He probably does a limit and I perhaps don't see him taking us to the promotion fight in the championship but, getting us to lower mid table, I can see.
  10. Feeling grumpy and contemplating we fluff the play offs after fluffing autos and spending all summer fuming as we build around sonny bradley.
  11. I've also always thought that because of this, it's in agent's interest to keep moving players around as much as they can as they get a sweet cut of any move - and I'm pretty certain there's been more than one player made a move they wouldn't really made but for the advice of their agent and it's not worked out for them. The "look at them throwing money around" narrative is going to come up a lot over the next few weeks.
  12. Agreed with all of that. The illegal streaming is a symptom. It's not like sky is a cheap option. I wonder if below prem level, it's not that it's even worth it to sky to put on the EFL games, they purely want to have the rights as a device to steer consumers of football content towards the main premier League stuff.
  13. They can offer international coverage, so I guess it depends on the numbers if it's worthwhile. If it's not profitable they may cut it which is a huge shame as ramstv is pretty good. I'm pretty sure they'll still have the radio Derby coverage.
  14. So that was the part of the brilliant new rights deal that the EFL negotiated that got the price up a tiny percentage was it. It's a good job ramstv has such a loyal international viewership.
  15. I think so, but can't remember off the top of my head. Planet F1 are a decent website, although a bit prone to the "10 articles on the same story phrased slightly different" and "exciting rumour that someone made up but here's a story about it" content volumiser stuff.
  16. Oh..... d'oh https://www.planetf1.com/features/japanese-gp-data-mclaren-crucial-error-fernando-alonso-smart-tactics
  17. Derby 3-1 Leyton CBT make amends for his Wycombe miss. "Well, we have two games left and we'll have to see where what we do stacks up against what others do and how that looks in a tabulated form. I have to say I'm delighted for Corrie given some of the criticism that came his way after Wednesday, most of it from myself"
  18. Are Leyton Orient fans orientalists by definition?
  19. Why are we making excuses for CBT? It was awful. He messed up. He can put it right before the season ends.
