Ferrari managed to Ferrari Leclerc before the race even started today. Easy win for Max (obvs), Norris untroubled in second but not enough to challenge, Alonso won out over Perez in some pretty good racing at the end of the grand prix. following on were baby stroll, Sainz, Gasly, Lewis, YUKI Tsunoda, Ocon. Turn 1 crash took out Albon and K-mag, the race was red flagged and piastri and ricciardo had their cars fixed to restart but were considered a lap down as they'd not done the lap under the safety car that everyone else did. George retired but was scoring points when he did, both saubers retired, Logan sargent finished P11 ahead of the haas of hulk and the two lap down aussies. So, my Yuki to red bull train must be gathering momentum by now, out qualifys danny twice and finishes ahead twice bringing home points in the sprint and the grand prix - go Yuki, fulfill that fast but erratic destiny. -
We have seen derby sides put in cup performances like today before and end without the replay, so, that's a small crumb i suppose.

Having reflected on it, today was more irritating than disaster, i wouldn't have been happy if we'd lost 2 nil - it's the lack of creativity in forward areas that just does your head in. They tried. The did what they'd been told to do. But really, just cross-clearance-cross-clearance-defensive f*** up-cross clearance.

Sprint was good. Yuki is my shout out today, out qualified Danny in both qualifyings and got P6 and some points towards hunting down Williams for P7. Mclaren looked good, Mercedes looked to run out of tyre life and fade. -
A healthy diet of all bran, porridge, shredded wheat and raw eggs?

I know it's a bit early with testing still a month away and "livery launch" possibly being the most naff F1 event type, but.... There is some news, Max verstappen had a tantrum when his computer game broke. Andretti Cadillac look set to be pushed by the FIA to come in and Horner has seduced Ford somehow. Quite how the red bull \ Ford thing will work I'm not sure on,but last time ford were in the sport with jaguar racing, they had a board meeting that included the comment "Who is Edmund Irvine and why are we paying him so much?" The days of just asking the red bull fellah for many millions of pounds and him saying"sure, here you go" are gone. Still, Horner Vs the Ford accounts division and corporate reputation and liabilities legal team is going to be fun. The teams want rid of the FIA president, mostly because he's trying to have the FIA run F1 again instead of the teams. The grid is still mourning the loss of GOATifi from the sport. Ferrari haven't ferrarid things up yet. Alonso hasn't fallen out with Aston Martin/ daddy Stroll yet, but give it time. Ocon is working hard on how he's going to punt Gasly at the first turn of the first race, just for poops and giggles. Perez is working on how he's going to give Danny Ricciardo food poisoning for two whole seasons. F1 social media is calm, relaxed and contemplative, set to continue until 5 minutes after testing starts.
