You're right on that first part, it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing.
Secondly, it depends who's delivering that power ballad.
Memories of my older sister warming the front seat, begging father to turn the radio up a whole lot, he frowning before turning it up a tiny tad.
You know you love this, man, but I get your point, I do, stadium rock sucks.

It's uncomfortable, yet essential, for how will we truly appreciate pleasure, without pain as a comparison?
The greatest art, the superhuman achievements were rooted in suffering.

I get your general gist, but physical pain is absolutely needed. People who cannot feel pain live terrible lives that usually end early. It's a vital requirement for the body to stop itself from causing further damage.
Mental pain and suffering are another matter. Although, to be fair, if you believe The Buddha (and science), all suffering is both inevitable and self-inflicted.

Cheers Fraser. This one is exciting. I put him up a while back as one of three or four I liked the look of who were plying their trade at L1 level or below and I'd be delighted to see him at the club. The thing I hadn't clocked until watching your video though, is how strong he is. He brushes off much bigger lads no bother at all and his first touch is excellent. It's a resounding 'yes' from me.

I suspect we have probably got some deals done - not ITK by the way!! Earlier this week someone posted that the way we work now is to only announce deals when they’re registered. CBT was used as an example where he’d been photographed in the kit 3 or 4 days before any announcement. Think back to last Summer, Vickers, for example, was announced on 20th June but his Rams TV interview was done before his honeymoon in May.
I think it’s part of us, as a fan base, still adjusting to the more measured approach under DC’s ownership.

Any one over 28 and I bin them off for a wonderkid on my shortlist.

Come on Eileen is now played at every family get together because Aunty Eileen has passed away. Mum's sister Eileen has a huge family of big drinking sons and grandsons who insist on singing it at full pelt.
The next time will be late August at me cousins Ruby wedding at Marstons Social Club in Burton.
Hopefully, a few pints of excellent Pedigree will ease the pain....

Agreed, Come On Eileen is intolerable screeching garbage that gets more excruciating every time it's played.
Anything with Madonna.
Michael Jackson's Bad is worse than that, it's horrendous, as an ear-worm, it's the stuff of nightmares.
Anything with Bon Jovi.
Anita Ward's Ring My Bell, for the love of God, change the channel.
Opus's Life Is Life is a lethal weapon.
Anything with Duran Duran.
Anything with Wham.
Anything with Adele.
Anything with Ed Sheeran.
Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You, decent song, made indecent by note bending ad nauseam.
There is more, plenty more, but this will do for now.

I am in complete agreement on Mr Brightside. I don't like the song or the band in the first place, so it's particularly galling that this is played so regularly.
It's not maintained popularity, but No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age was massively overplayed.
Chelsea Dagger should carry a death sentence rather than a fine.
