Just getting all the documents typed and prepared would have taken a few days, and although heads of terms would have been agreed in the last 72 hours no way can a deal as complex as this be done on docu-sign.

Legal teams love paperwork as it extends their hours of involvement, and income. I recently had a novation of contract to sign, which i and my supporting signatory did. It was rejected because the date of signing we added was not the date of the document creation, but when we actually signed it. It was sent back for us to change the date on page 1, which wasn’t the legally required date,  our signatory dates were correct. I asked the legal team in question why they couldn’t just change the date, they would have full auditable evidence of when the received it, but they refused and asked me to change the date and send it back . They fully understood and instructed us what to change, but of course this made them money. I am sure this whole takeover business is prolonged for the benefit of the legal people.(sorry for being cynical)

Daft question, but not having been in League One for decades, and not having sold any season tickets for next year, how can we realistically know what our turnover will be for the coming year?

There will be a budget based on expected income I think, like a "normal" business would do. Based on that business plan we will be able to spend, I imagine in the first half of the season we will be more cautious and then if the income is ahead of expectation that would allow some extra spend in January. (I think)

I think it was something with 7's in it! 737? ?

In 2000 he joined British Midland, based at East Midlands Airport, firstly as a First Officer on the Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 aircraft.

He later moved on to the Boeing 737, being promoted to Captain in December 2004 and continued working for British Midland until 2012.

I'm ready and waiting with my money and will be in the ticket office, as soon as it's announced that the season tickets are on sale.

I will be on line and swearing as it crashes no doubt...

My slept on it thoughts (©Ed Dawes) - This has certainly soured my view of Rooney - We know every manager goes eventually but I'm not sure this timing could have been worse. Day 1 of a new owners reign, he will need to find a new manager. Players left even more in limbo than they already were and potential signings may be having second thoughts. As I alluded to on page 1, many of us will be eternally grateful to Rooney and in a couple of years, this will be a mere footnote in our history but right now I feel a little let down!

The timing of his departure is absolutely appalling I agree. But as one who went to all of the 9 away defeats in a row , maybe this might just be the right thing in the longer term. ?

If it was anywhere near completion he’d be all over social media.

Also, nothing on this lot’s website

Yep, clearly utter BS. I actually blocked the account initially as a spammer, but somehow I thought (in desperation) that it was genuine ITK account. ?

We’re going to have a lot more 3pm on a Saturday games, which will be good for most. However, we also now have an additional number of cup games, in early stages of FA Cup and Paint Trophy. Will there be a discount for these for ST holders?

Regular Saturday games would be very welcome.

3 years wouldn’t make any difference as the money isn’t released until each game. The money is ringfenced.

So yes it would, as any deferred revenues over the three years would be known and would allow financial planning to made with the future deferred revenues already known, so the deferred income would be guaranteed, an could be set against the transfer policies and operating policies of the club, any income raised is not ringfenced as such.
