So you're saying then that in this £4m a year the wages of all players 21 or under are included? Obviously that means that the average wage of the first team squad is higher, but it really does make more sense to keep the category one status.
-
So Knight, Sibley etc don't count as first team players because they came through the academy system? In which case the cost of running the academy is peanuts if you take their wages out of that running cost. Or am I missing something?

What were you doing ten years ago today?

I managed to miss the first half as I hadn't realised that it was an early kickoff. You can imagine my surprise (good and bad at the same time) when I started looking for one of @RadioactiveWaste's watercourses and saw the score. -
Supporters' Charter Group (SCG) minutes - March 2024

Can someone please explain this to me. "Fans" leave their seats before the final whistle to go and stand in the concourse to watch the final minutes on the TV? I fully understand people who actually leave the ground to avoid the rush, catch trains etc, but to just watch on a tiny TV screen when a few feet away you can watch live? Now that's just plain weird. -
Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.

Surely you can add another nought to those prices if they are prepared to move to Greece? -

I've literally lost all interest in football since our problems with the EFL started. Thank God I support a team that plays Warneball 🥷 -
Terrible news to wake up to. I often still listen to his music. RIP Steve.

To be fair, if it happened in Britain they would probably be called the same. I would hope however that the ones in Britain would only receive a fine or short jail sentence. I don't think that the Russians will be appearing in public very soon. Unless they're peering over a balcony of course when they somehow slip and fall 13 floors.

Camara came with high hopes but not so much of a pedigree. Hopefully it's not another FloJo case. -
Surely NML has the column already?

Don't want to nitpick (alright,I do), but we're playing Bolton. Why is the Stevenage badge on the flier?

I imagine that he would probably prefer to wait until the end of the season to see what league we are in, unless he's fallen in love with us already of course

John O'Hare. Fantastic player. Only Paul Goddard has been (slightly) better than him in his position in all my years watching the Rams. -

To be fair, we were working under various forms of transfer embargo and not spending £250 million. -
Yes, I was really looking forward to this. The first two episodes (released at the same time) set the tone, but I hoped that the anti-Brit angle would change. It did, it got worse. All very nice to look at, but not a patch on the previous series of the same ilk by the same producers.

Alternative view: He is proving to be struggling to settle in due to injuries in the mould of others we signed. -
So he's turning into more of a pantry rather than a wardrobe in his footballing twilight years?

Read the forum issues thread. It's @Boycie's go to solution to all issues. Apparently it does work 😂

Either David Clowes has cleared out his loft, or @loweman2 has had his internet reconnected!

Points Deduction, Who's Next And When Will It Stop?

It's obvious that we would have got to the point where amortisation was a problem, however the actual amount would not have been the same. We weren't given the chance to sell off players. Obviously it would have had to have been players who had come through the academy in order to be a positive on the accounts. The team would probably have looked something like the one that Rooney was putting out. Old men getting one last chance at a big club and kids of 16-18 starting out in the game. Mel Morris, or more likely Stephen Pearce, surely had a plan to at least reduce any points deductions that were coming if we failed to get promoted. Unfortunately we hit the perfect storm before we were able to reach at least a small inlet that provided some form of protection. -
When did @Boycie become DCFC IT?

Nick Pickering. What a player. Or should that be "what, a player?"? -
