To be fair Nixon has a point. If someone was so desperate to ride in and save us why haven’t they since 5?
Even now men in suits are fiddling their gold coins to see if they can save themselves a few bob ?

Im with you.
I think his worst crime here is showing up his naivety in big business deals, especially if a large portion of his wealth came from hitting the jackpot on Bitcoin.
I would still put it at 50/50 that he completes despite what the majority think.

Come on so he’s fooled the admins, efl, Gary cook Paul stretford and other people. I actually believe his money is being held up. These other people and groups have had 9 months to a deal and instead of messing around just match his bid and get on with it

The way I’m summarising it is that:
Ashley wants to buy the club but won’t pay the admins, therefore they aren’t going to accept his bid.
Appleby and Moxey are in a consortium with Morgan as the backer with the cash and are probably more likely to get the club.
Kirchner still could takeover the club depending on whether the money arrives before another bidder takes over the club.

Exactly, Ashley is bottom of my list based on his backhanded ways to get this deal his way.

The people that Q are talking too NOW, DCFC will be sold, The EFL are covering their backs by saying DCFC can start the season in Admin...they are aware of the potential buyers.

Morgan wants to be made PB should CK's money fail to materialise.
His team will include Jez Moxey, which is interesting considering his involvement with Burton Albion...

I may be putting 2 and 2 together and ending up with 5 but..... when Steve Morgan was Wolves chairman, his chief executive was Jez Moxey.
Jez Moxey is now part of General Sports Worldwide, along with Andy Appleby & Sam Rush.
Is Morgan the backer behind an Appleby/GSW bid? ?
Is a combination of Morgan + Appleby + Clowes (stadium) a possibilty? ?

Even if he isn't playing every game, we need Curt Davies around this football club this coming season. Nothing but respect for him.

Have to assume the average lifespan of a DCFC supporter has decreased in the last couple of years and dramatically so over the last 48 hours.

My guess is Appleby, Moxey, Rush etc lost their major investor earlier in the year but if Morgan is now onboard, that could be very good news indeed
I just wonder if Rooney would stay on with them. I think at this stage, he obviously is with Kirchner, very unlikely to with Ashley as owner but what about Morgan et al?
