Currently not listed as being live on Sky according to the SkySports app (one televised prem game is all that it shows at the moment) That could change of course, but currently looking like it isn’t on, perhaps it’ll be on Ramstv as it’s an away fixture not at 3pm on a Sat?

Would imagine they’ll pick two games to show Sunday.

us and Wednesday, Barnsley and Peterborough the obvious ones

plymouth and Ipswich going for the title is nowhere near as interesting.

6 minutes added on, and we played 20 seconds extra to cover the time wasting during those 6 minutes!

We all do it, and it's time the EFL cracked down on it.

Injury time is a joke, genuinely doubt the ball is ever in play for even half of the supposed added time. In most games as well.

the lack of a crackdown is really making it worse as well. Commentators calling it game management and praising it is frustrating as well.

I thought I'd bump this, as we were talking about attendances before the season started.

Most people under-estimating where we would be, both in terms of attendances and season-ticket sales. You can see who our resident pessimists are!

(Sorry for some of us derailing it with cricket talk! 🏏)

But we've done so well, better than even B4 predicted!

Was it over 20k season tickets with half ones? And over 27k average?

I just think we as a fanbase should probably move on. That is all. The club have openly said that relationships are good. Just be happy that we're still playing football on Saturdays.

Not here spoiling for an argument about what has happened in the past.

Agree totally, also think less we look at back at last season the better

I don't see us guaranteeing a play-off slot given our next two opponents.

Aside from that next season, what exactly can pw do to build strength given the transfer restrictions?

As a result, the outright push for promotion will come in the season when transfers are allowed again.

That doesn't 100% resolve the issues either. Sure we will have a transfer budget but so will other clubs.

Whenever we get our transfer budget back, we'll need to go all out for promotion.

As to pw, the owners are not getting rid of him, he's on a 4 year contract, as is his staff.

As for this transfer window, what prevents us from getting similar players to last season?

Older players, end of their careers, little sell on value. By the season's end, they're too tired.

I just feel like we’re making excuses before even seeing the players.

we managed to sign Conor hourihane and David mcgoldrick last summer. Hourihane not quite lived up to it but any team in this league and most in championship would want him. Mcgoldrick similarly would walk into any side in the league.

these restrictions are not as bad as we make out. Plymouth a good example, highly doubt they spend much on fees and wages probably all within our budget.

luton in the championship doing similar.

is a mountain of free agents and loans about. Is a huge part of a mangers job to find these players. Has had months of planning.

if insists on sticking to this formation and brining in whole new players then that is what he has to be judged against. No team waits for two or three years until can spend again.

  6. Think gone pretty well for us!

ipswich and Plymouth both have very winnable games at home Saturday to secure promotion!

wednesday away at Shrewsbury which looks hardest of the three.

    and Bolton lost too!

Should all be a lot clearer after Saturday!

All for nothing though if don’t do our bit on the pitch

Why do we need to look attractive to new owners, DC seems to be enjoying ownership of the rams. I think he is in it for the forseeable future.

Don’t think we need to but am sure clowes himself said wasn’t a long term thing. Just wanted to help the club. Not sure he wants to invest all of his money into derby county

I was overseas when we played Sheffield  Wednesday in our home game but out of interest why were they only given 2600 - was it police advise or something strange when we have had many more away fans attend like Oxford etc. There hasn’t t ever been any real bother with them.

Have no idea, read it on here to be honest so don’t think is fact! But am sure was said that gave Wednesday 2600, Ipswich 3100.

would imagine is because first game back after World Cup and our first home game in about six weeks that we thought we could sell the tickets to home fans instead.

  9. No one even knows what the restrictions are, think warne was quoting as saying “a substantial portion of the budget is available” in January. I don’t think things as tight as portrayed. We budgeted for lower crowds than have been getting alps.

Would be increased income from being in championship, plus the play offs also generates money.

Also is not many sides that go into the championship and come straight down. We’d need to survive for a year and can the look to crack on.

Finally we’d look a lot more attractive to new owners in the championship as well.

preferring to stay in this decision would be mental.

What makes you think they aren’t already planning on restricting our numbers for the away leg?

I’d hope the clubs are in dialogue, think they have to agree pricing etc. would hope they agree a set amount for each side rather than childish blocking off seats as a form of retaliation.

Both sides have great away support! Hope is a good 3000 from each side if it happens

Can we reciprocate this IF we end of playing them in the PO? I’d more that happy to leave a block of empty seats and restrict the number of away fans.

So they then do the same in the away leg? Great plan!

we gave them 2600 apparently and been given 2373 in return. It’s hardly unfair is it. And like someone mentioned I think we’d want to do the same in return if could get promotion. Would you rather extra derby fans there or some away fans?

It’s a strange one - if they need the game to win etc they will take the bottom tier as they have blocked out the front 3 rows of the top tier - if it means nothing to them then they will open up the front 3 rows to DCFC and maybe open the bottom tier as well I’m my opinion

What can be said is that the view ( or non view from far to many seats) from the upper tier is one of the poorest around, again in my opinion

Yeah have been to Hillsborough a few times, always surprises me what a poor state the ground and the away end in particular is still in.

Arguably if Barnsley have a chance of the top 2 come the posh match this could work against us. They'll throw the kitchen sick to try and win which could give posh chances on the breakaway plus come 70 mins if news breaks through that their goose is cooked they may throw in the towel and allow posh on to them for a late goal.

Unless we win both matches there's no certainty regarding our situation. I believe 4 points should be enough but that does mean us showing some kahunas which is always an issue.

Doesn’t the exact same scenario apply to us and Wednesday?

hopefully we can win at home Saturday against a side with nothing to play for.  That leaves posh needing two wins which looks doubtful

barnsley away is just as tough as Wednesday away for us. Matching their result should be enough. Think we’d have all taken that a month ago.
