All hindsight now but completely the wrong team. I can see why PW went with that 11 on the back of that win at Oxford and DMcG & JK not training much... but those that had the opportunity completely blew it. I think that puts to bed any rose tinted glasses views that Curtis can do a job for us, same with Fozzy at LB - the legs aren't there. Subs should have been after 20 mins not 43.

Bullied again and ripped apart by a superior midfield. Not sure how many games that is this year we've seen our lot chase shadows but I'm wondering if I'd be that arsed if we sold Sibley, Knight or Bird for significant fee's in the summer. They consistently can't do it. Boys chasing men around today again.

Big game next week, lose that one and it's panic stations.

Fleetwood were excellent btw. Strong in the tackle but played some nice stuff. Brave on the ball when they had to be and defended well - completely deserved win. Stockley would be an upgrade on Collins on todays showing. As would their no. 16 vs Bird/Hourihane/Knight.

Agree on this, knight should be doing far more in the division if he’s really a £5m player. Similarly no one is ever banging our door down for bird and sibley.

cashin been poor a while now as well.

Would love to know what good booing your home team does, nothing in my opinion, the players just drop their heads even more. If not happy walk out.

I think was deserved today. Warne even said was most embarrassing half as a manager.

no one wants to boo, and if turn it round second half everyone happy. But first half was so poor. Felt like a lack of effort too

However unlike Collins he knows where to be and gets involved. He's still learning and has talent and energy, Collins doesn't.

I’m really not a fan of Collins but was offering a lot more than this early season. We barely ever play well when he’s on the pitch.

  4. Been poor for a while now, since losing the unbeaten run has been more poor performances than good.

collins a really poor player. Is offering nothing to the team. No other option than mcgoldrick though.

springett looks a long way off the other three wingers.

davies had a really tough game. Cashin and fozzy both poor as well. Fozzy better back at cb.

Waiting to see warnes solution to this slump, doesn’t seem to be working at the minute.

976 tickets left from initial allocation.

    Thanks!

Would presume they’ll all go tomorrow morning. Will see what next allocation is, seems leaving it late to sell and post tickets if don’t get extra until Monday.

People really do forget this. Warne inherited this team of renegades. No buying power. Most on loan or freebies. Hardly any players are his choice. We also forget we nearly didn't have a football team this time last year. I despair with some so called fans on here

This bunch of renegades were 16 games unbeaten, without ever looking like losing. Last seven games have been a real turn around from that. Three defeats and some pretty poor performances. Bird being injured can’t be the sole reason.

also the having a club to support so be happy thing is getting old for me. That’s in the past, I want to look at the league and think how we progress and get back to the championship. Can’t just turn up and be blindly happy forever because of last season.

We’re missing birdy badly… do feel he was /is a integral cog that sometimes goes unnoticed by so many… myself included sometimes

Yeah I’m not his biggest fan at times. Maybe better than we realise.

not getting a striker in January was a huge mistake, same with a right back as well.

  8. Yeah the idea that refs and the efl have an active conspiracy against us game by game is getting a bit silly. Refs are just poor, sometimes for us and sometimes against.

bottom line is standards have dropped a bit over the last month, that’s why have fallen off slightly. Whether that’s tiredness or a quality issue the main debate.

don’t think we’re one of the best two sides in the division so is hard to think we should be getting automatic. Let’s finish strong and have a go at the play offs. Next season needs to be all out push for top two though.

  9. The two up front thing isn’t working, we seem to be play far better with one forward and then knight joining the attacks. Mcgoldrick the much better option.

roberts had a poor game, sibley offered a lot more going forwards.

we just miss options to change things when not playing well, have two strikers at the club. Both started today so that’s that.

top six the target now and finish as strong as we can.

I’d be inclined to give Sibley a go behind McGoldrick and drop knight back to where bird usually is then replace Sibley with white who can play either where Sibley was or knight - worth a try

Moving three people when can just put white in for bird seems excessive.

Rooney at right back and smith in midfield seems the easier option if not wanting to start white yet.

personally think he might give Thompson a game in the bird role and see how he does.

I can’t believe some of the stuff on here lately!

Whats kept this club going over the last eighteen months has been the relationship between the supporters the different management teams and the encouragement towards players, the all in this together, never give up, fight to the end attitude that has served us well.

Unfortunately it seems that losing to a Premier League club who had 200 million quids worth of talent sat on the bench seems to have resurrected that rarest of beasts over the last few months………….the scapegoat.

Considering that just six months back we were on the verge of handing the club to Kirchner, had five players under contract and no pre season the results and performances so far are remarkable.

Personally I will not be criticising the present management, previous managers or any player  who’s working their socks off to improve our position and decided to stay or sign for this club in extraordinary times.

It’s not scapegoating, it’s just talking about where people think we can improve. It’s a forum, is for talking about derby county.

if someone has a poor game or run of poor games then people will maybe want a change in the team. That person isn’t written off forever. And am sure everyone on here wants Collins to score a hat trick Saturday!

if course am glad we still have a club, but I still want to look forward and think about how we can improve and how we can get promoted. The fact it’s so close makes you dream a bit more. That’s the whole point of supporting a team for me.

Its good to see that you've not written him off yet, despite him having already had 53 minutes worth of action from off the bench to impress you and, in them minutes, being instrumental in our winning goal against Port Vale. I'm sure he is very grateful for your continued support.

Hope I’m wrong but let’s see.

Any chance of top two gone without a back up to McGoldrick methinks.  Would be a challenge with another.

Feels that way doesn’t it, will be a few tight games where you need to throw someone else on. We’ll have possibly Collins on the bench if mcgoldrick is fit, and maybe dobbin or springett.

  14. Underwhelming a good word for today if that’s it. Needed a right back for about seven months now. Also Osula went back three weeks ago.

get the points about budget and being happy we still have a club. At some point we have to start to look forward again. But feel we have a real chance at automatic promotion, could do with more options off the bench or starting. Warne said as much last night.

and not writing him off yet but springett looks pretty underwhelming, I’m not convinced he improves us much. Plange as a striker would have helped?

let’s see how we go for the last few months.

Tickets on sale for Barnsley away tomorrow. Just under 5,000 allocation.

I have a bit of a dilemma with this one, My son and especially my grandson is desperate to go to another away game ( Anfield being the last one) . I have twenty + membership but they only have 0-5 membership. To get 3 together I’ll have to wait for their category and hope they don’t sell out.

Am 99% certain we don’t have over 4000 members so should make it to that category easily! I’m general sale and pretty confident of this one
