Indeed - it's hard to defend Quantuma's 'deadline' communication, but I suspect that they deserve a huge amount of credit for untangling the rats nest left by Mel Morris. Assuming this final hurdle gets cleared  they have had a big hand in rescuing our club.

What if there are still “afters” to be had by the EFL. And them riding in on the white horse to get the takeover sorted pronto is in fact a smokescreen. Because their riding in to get the job done hasn’t got the job done.
So here we are facing losing what few players we have got, and losing the players allegedly lined up to sign when the job does get done, and having to field a bunch of babies. We are close to having the most disastrous of seasons because a few blokes are incapable of signing a bit of paper.
So having stuck the knife in at every opportunity to get us relegated, are the EFL now delighting in giving that knife a few twists before finally pulling it out?
Or is this just the rantings of a madman driven by all these unexplainable delays and missed targets?

Quantuma have been frantically touring the Locko Estate this afto to find the right signatory.
All they could find is an old bloke in blue dungarees and wellies who says he is mending the fences with a bale of netting.
"Them ruddy foxes are gerrin' in everywhere", he remarked
Quantuma asked if her were senior enough to sign or witness a document.
"Ah'm signin' nuthin", he barked. "I've got to stop 't foxes",

I am sure that bias exists. But the reality actually is that I know of no other club that EFL had approved the accounts for and then later changed their minds. And no other club that it has sought points deduction from and failed. With Derby they tried twice and failed both times. EFL really did seem desperate to "punish" us any which way they could.. for things they had previously said were OK. .
Bias takes many forms. EFL showed clear confirmation bias.. Parry in particular  was desperate to be proved right even though he wasn't. e

Saw this and looked at his profile to see which club his bias came from (assuming Forest) and was flabbergasted to see he is a Wigan fan.
Just shows the complete willful lack of understanding and general malice from the 'football family'.
I know it was discussed on here earlier about taking the moral high ground and not celebrating should another club went through what we have done. But... with the exception of Blackpool, Palace, Arsenal and a those passive fans who neither supported nor piled on, I would absolutely celebrate another club going through what we have done. Even if it's just to prove that we aren't a one-off and football as a whole is broken and to quash this ridiculous idea that we somehow deserve this.
Sorry, but after the 2 years we have had, I would relish the opportunity to say 'I told you so'. If that makes me a bad person then so be it.

I’m normally very balanced and fair minded (I think?) but I’d be more than happy to see a few other clubs go through similar pain to us. Not necessarily go out of existence, but suffer in the same way we have in terms of being pilloried, much of the time for imagined, misunderstood or exaggerated ‘crimes’, victimised and treated about as unfairly as you can by the EFL (who I still can’t believe haven’t been taken to court over their disciplinary procedures - completely flawed - or their collusion with Boro), other clubs coming in and exploiting our situation both in terms of ludicrous ‘charges’ against us or poaching players, the ridiculous rules (again EFL) that actively try to impede any way of getting out of the mess, rules (again EFL) which somehow allow you to be punished multiple times for the same misdemeanours and the complete lack of discretion used by the EFL to help us in any way. Yep, I’d be ok with other fans having the same experience; might teach them some humility.

BUT much more than this, the more clubs that go through this, the more likely it is that they will learn they need to change; need to find a way to level the playing field, stop the need for clubs to massively overspend to compete with parachute payments, address the obscene disparities between the PL and EFL and so on and so forth.
    Anyway, bitter rant over. Sorry.

For me I don't think of other fans, I have no interest of other fans, Those that sang "we're gonna party when Derby die" are about as thick as they come.
Not a droplet of a tear will I spill if one of those people who savaged us on social media, Sung about us dying, Or stole money from us with outlandish charges of foul play...go Bust!

Angie afraid i wish for some of these toxic clubs to suffer, the press also have been toxic over this period of time.
Will Mel send the EFL a writ when this is all over and he has nothing to do with the club, certainly hope so, will be good to see Parry and fit for purpose Ridsdale along with the rest squirm and have to answer the questions which we all have been asking, this cannot be swept under the carpet.

So what’s to stop us putting in a claim against the EFL for their mishandling of the situation? It was they who allegedly didn’t apply the points deduction. That responsibility was the EFL’s and therefore nothing to do with Derby County. So it is their failure to apply the deduction, so they should be accountable for Goolie’s losses. Whole we are at it, the EFL’s inaction and ducking of responsibility was directly responsible for our relegation. Irrespective of the 21-point deduction, we were well on course to avoid relegation until Goolie’s and  Curly’s spurious claims got in the way.

Not to forget what Covid 19 did to Derby County and that the EFL wouldn’t even countenance any exemptions for that .
    Totally ridiculous .
PS We were cleared of the EFSs stupid charges against us by the first panel.

I think what frustrates me about this whole debacle is that some fans and clubs really can't seem to separate us, the fans from how badly the club has been run.
When they ask for Derby to be punished more it is only us, the fans, that will be punished. Basically all the players have left and the owner at the time has gone. When they ask for more punishment like the runts on otib, they literally mean they just want us as a fanbase to suffer. And we 'deserve' it because of some memes and the fact we supported our team when we were nearly promoted.
It's really soured my view of other fans. A lot. And mostly boro, Wycombe, Bristol and Leeds fans.
