What blind faith are you basing your optimism on? This manager and bunch of players have had more than enough chances to avoid this scenario yet they've been capitulating week after week and suddenly right at the last possible moment the manager is going to galvanise them into doing what he should have been getting his team to do weeks ago? And even then that might not be enough dependant on other results.
Morris missed a trick by not removing Rooney when he had chance, very ironic really given his predisposition for bulleting managers randomly, when he does have the chance to do this with Rooney he doesn't.

Who are you trying to kid?  ? 
You're a couple of wins above a club that's done it's absolute utmost to self-destruct and you've achieved this feat without any of the issues we've endured and with three times as many players. Your season has been every bit as pitiful and but for a little additional adverse luck, you'd be precisely where we are.
Let's be frank here, your lot are still suffering the hangover from being dumped out of the play-offs by a certain Mr Christopher Martin and yet despite the state we're in, we're still living rent-free in your heads.

Our players may be on the beach, and we had an absolutely awful start/hangover from last season. But 20/21 has been nothing but indifference. Nothing really to complain about too much, or get excited about. 
Meanwhile you've had not only your worst league result (I'd imagine?) for decades, a complete collapse in administration, players not getting paid on time, owner seemingly desperate enough to offload to absolutely anyone, a transfer embargo, EFL appeal that may yet lead to points deductions? I'm sure there's plenty I'm missing here. 
I fully anticipate you'll amongst the relegation candidates next year. With CH in charge, I don't think that'll be the case for us.

We really must be in deepshitt, even @eezzeetiger and @Red_Dawn are leaving us to mourn in peace..

Hiring a rookie manager in a season like this one was our big mistake. One roll of the dice too many from Mel Morris and it’s coming back to bite us. It’s the reason we are where we are. Whether we go down or not; hiring Wayne Rooney was the wrong decision.
Fantastic playing career, sensational player, worked with some of the best managers of all time and I don’t buy the idea for one second that he isn’t smart. 
But the reality is that nothing in his playing career has prepared him for a scrap at the battle of the Championship. This is a person who has known nothing but success in his career. Why he is even at this club in the first place is something but a mystery to me...unless of course you give credence to the idea that he was promised to inherit the reigns from Cocu...
The blame for all of this lies at door of the person who hired him.
