  1. There's also a manned(*) wheelchair access(**) door immediately after Greggs, so by the first North Stand turnstiles (23-28?) walking from the club shop. *I know... it may well be a woman... I appreciate that... and I have absolutely no problem with that... aside from the terms "Womanned" and/or "Personned" sounding utterly horrendous when I say them back in my head! πŸ‘€ **No idea... I just copied what @angieram wrote! πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
  2. If we have to lose, I'm not sure I can be arsed to try and set out my most preferred way of doing so.
  3. If it wasn't for the fact this was quelled in the past day or so, it'd be rendered irrelevant. I'm all for romance, and It was a nice emotionally charged idea at the time, but given the timescale involved to reach this decision, the right decision was made. Rooney himself reputedly... and fairly... responded thus: "The Freedom of Derby? Was I meant to get the Freedom of Derby?” said Rooney. β€œI had a great time at Derby under difficult circumstances. I never expected to get the freedom of the place. I respect the football club, I respect the fans, but there are a lot more people who deserve the Freedom of Derby more than I do.” Too true, Wayne. Cheers, 'n all that. πŸ‘

  5. 1/ Bung the jailer Β£100 to let you out for the day. 2/ Hire a private jet 3/ Wear thermal underwear. #noexcuses! πŸ˜‰πŸ
  6. I think it's a simple matter of their former stadium (Eastville) being next to the gas works. Nothing exciting. or profound.
  7. I saw what you did there! Savage! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ
  8. Yeah. I hear you, and I accept your thought process, but rightly or wrongly, I just see other L1 clubs. No better or worse than us, come opening day of the season. This division has had the likes of Wendies, Ipswich, Sunderland et all over recent seasons, and most of them take more than a season or two to threaten a promotion place. The 3 teams that come down next will come down for a reason. Most likely for football reasons, and they'll be down here "on merit"! Every team, every season, are a threat. 🐏
  9. Just wanted to welcome you to the forum, Mr Park. Sorry I cannot help with your query though, as I haven't got a clue how to do it.
  10. Totally agree. If it's any consolation, this particular hanger-on will be more than happy to say "after you my friend", should we be found racing towards the same last available urinal at half time. It's the least I could do. πŸπŸ»πŸ‘ ... and besides, I'm usually too late anyway! πŸ‘€
  11. A win for the club would be good. A win for the watching hordes would be great. A win for B4 would be absolutely bloody fantastic! Let's make it a day of tears b4 the cheers!. 4 our No1 fan. 4 our mate. Let's raise the roof, and raise a smile from upon high. #bemoreB4 #38mins #Clap4daniel xxx 🐏
  12. Is that because next season it will be 3 teams dropping in from the Championship, where as this season, they only dropped from... erm... oh! πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  13. If you think there is such a time of day that could be described as "Too early for a drink", then quite frankly, you sir, are deluded! πŸ‘€
  14. I had similar thoughts for my (4-1) prediction. If we get it, I defo won't be joining in with any rendition of "We want 5, We want 5...", regardless of how long is left on the clock! 😁🐏
  15. But as well as being expensive, the proper ones come in 3 bits... not great with all seats out, and in and out with camping gear. And no, I can't afford a brand new Transporter... it was either this new company van, or a lesser value pay rise, so opted for the van, and in the process, I have now got rid of my personal Ford Galaxy, and the associated monthly (finance) repayments, insurance, and VED. Nice! 😁 Got to kit it out myself though... hence the cheap carpet option! 🀣
  16. Not worthy of a new thread, but a bump of this one should suffice... Looking for semi-decent carpeting for the back of my new van, which I'm collecting in a couple of hours, so if anyone has any recommendations, I'm all ears! Grey or black preferred, but not a deal-breaker! There's a 2+1 seat arrangement in the back. I'm happy to cut out for seat fittings (and lashing points) if need be, as I'd like the carpet to be in one piece, from the back of the front seats (1+1) to the rear tailgate threshold. Would prefer hemmed, so I'm just trying to avoid an end-of-roll remnant from a domestic carpet shop! 🀣 The "scatterd rug" look is a tad too hipster for me, too! πŸ‘€ There are options for multi-piece vehicle-specific carpets, (Some of which are far too expensive for my liking!) shaped and hemmed around that second row of seats, with a larger carpet for the main "empty" rear (behind those seats). But I'm not so keen on the multi piece option though, hence my desire for a "Covers the lot" option. (There may be times when all 3 rear seats come out, for camping abroad?) If it matters, the van is a VW Transporter T6.1 Highline Kombi - SWB - Sliding door each side. If I can get the desired effect for a Β£100 or less, I'll be delighted! 😎 I'll do some digging of course, but if anyone has any suggestions, it'd be appreciated. Cheers. 🍻

  18. ... And they've left the keys in the ignition. That's a sackable offence right there!
  19. Horses... If my History GCSE Grade E has not deserted me! πŸ‘€
  20. Yeah. Fair do's. But is the reason that it's never been as popular simply down to the ease of which it can be spread around the planet? We had The Green 'un, the Sunday papers, local wireless, and eventually the odd highlights show. Live FA Cup final was about the limit... but half the households either didn't have a telly on which to watch it, the aerial had blown down, or they didn't have a coin for the rental meter! Is it more popular because it's better? Or because of what the youngsters refer to as "The World Wide Web"? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
