I do find it amazing the disparity of scrutiny and judgement of both fighters to be honest, AJ fights a top guy every fight now when Fury took two soft touches after Wilder first time around. Went life and death with Wallin.
But I am sure he'll pull out some story about how he was driving in his Ferrari, wanted to drive it in to wall to kill himself and had to stop himself. Very relatable I must say. I also don't believe gays are a bad as paedophiles. He's done well to turn public perception round from where he was, AJ is the boxer that people love to hate now. I see a lot of people seem to hate him for saying support black businesses which I find quite revealing.

AJ vs Fury won't happen without a crowd, they need the gate receipts to maximise the profits and keep the purses high.
Fury is now probably the most overrated HW in the division now after beating Wilder who was literally tailored made for him, Wilder relies on one punch and has poor fundamentals which is a dream for Fury. The only win I rate highly on Fury's CV is Wlad but even then I feel like he beat Wlad more mentally than physically. Don't get me wrong I think Fury is very good but a few years ago he was the laughing stock of the division and nobody thought he'd do anything after he got dropped by Steve Cunningham. Also I feel he overplayed his mental illness to gain favour in face of scrutiny of his out of date beliefs on homosexuality, he's been riding on that for a couple of years now. I don't buy this peoples champ crap he's coming out with. Fury has been put down by much softer shots than AJ but seems to escape the criticism that is aimed at AJ.
I think it'll be a great fight but ultimately I think AJ will rough him up and knock him out, if it goes the distance you obviously favour Fury. AJ always performs better against the taller guys as his career has shown, very underwhelming against the shorter HWs he's faced. AJ likes a taller fighter where he can slip under the shots and unload the combos. No way will Fury get close to AJ and try and lean on him as he'd get uppercutted in to the stratosphere. It'll be Fury on the backfoot twitching like a mad man letting constant jabs go.

Just gave Rocket from the Crypt - Circa: Now! a spin, such a great LP. If you are in to 90s alternative/punk then well worth a listen.

To me Joyce is a B level fighter, good all rounder but will always fall short of the top tier. Got the chin and fitness to be tough to beat for anyone. Joyce vs Usyk would still be a good fight in my eyes because Joyce knows he can walk through Usyk's best shot, the range control pressure game Usyk deploys doesn't faze Joyce. I'd still pick Usyk on accuracy just to land the cleaner work but it'd still be intriguing to me.

Nah that was two albums later on Scream, Dracula, Scream. But that three album run they had was solid, no filler.

I have Usyk slowly working Chisora and tiring him out before either a late stoppage or UD. He'll let Chisora unload first 5 or 6 rounds and just punish the misses before taking over second half of the fight. Which is a shame because I do like Chisora but no interest in him challenging for titles now.

Did anyone catch Lomachenko vs Lopez? I'd been picking Lopez to win for a while much to some peoples amusements in other boxing chats I'm in. Lopez is one of my favourite fighters and I saw him live at Maddison Square Garden when I was across the pond. Always felt he'd get the win, too fast and powerful and has a sharp jab. Loma got into it second half of the fight and Lopez lost his way a bit neglecting the jab as but got a solid win in the end. I thought he won by three rounds, Ward on the comms was giving Loma rounds for landing one good power shot which I thought was absolute madness, the scorecards were a bit OTT but the right man won.

If we pulled that off I'd take everything I've ever said about us being terrible at getting fees for players back.

All because they signed a striker with a potential attitude problem and a cart horse defender all while their captain negotiates to go to Burnley. Forest fans have relentless delusion but it seems being totally bank for a decade has really got to them.

I have completely the different assessment to you, he has shown good improvements and lately proved his boxing ability. Good guard in exchanges and probably my favourite jab in the division, his jab is heavier than some guys leads. I think he'll go on to be a top fighter, I didn't rate him early on but he is maturing really well.

Eggington actually looked like he'd made good improvements, Cheeseman just wanted a bit more due to it being his last effort before potentially retiring early.
