I hope we batter these southern bamfords in the replay. I think the ref had a very bad second half which didn't help us. Excuses aside, we should be doing better than this.

Come on you dirty northern b***ard Rams!!!

My Mrs is a reddog (her only negative) who used to go on a lot of holidays in Torquay, so has a soft spot for them. Their "Dirty northern b***ards" chant has turned her into a very passionate ram for the day ?

McGoldrick hasn't offered much today. He's really struggled to get in the game.

Get innnn!
Should give the lads the belief they can score a couple more tonight!

This doesn't seem real anymore.

Be nice if every now and then either Bird and Hourihane give a player an option to pass.
I don't get the insistence on playing them together. Neither has any intensity to their game. It's like the old football manager video game no no: don't play a deep lying playmaker and an advanced playmaker in midfield together. It never works in a video game and never seems to work in real life outside of Sunday league.

This season feels a bit like the 2002-2003 already. Hope it picks up a bit. We definitely need at least one of the CMs to be more mobile, Bird and Hourihan doesn't seem to work very well, especially away from home.
Who knows, maybe we'll do a Plymouth ?

Didn’t Barnsley give us 9,000 a few years back one xmas where we won 2-1 or 2-0 - it was my birthday so it’s a bit blurry
Wasn't it the march of the promotion season? Seth Johnson clobbered a fan on the head with a rogue volley in the pre march warm up if I remember correctly! I think we won 2-1 with Oakley scoring (maybe the winner?)

Its frustrating seeing Aston Villa able to afford players like Coutinho. That play off final had so much riding on it. It could have easily been Villa in this situation if we'd have won that game.
21 points was always going to be a massive deficit to overcome and had we not got the additional 9 points deducted we'd still be in with a chance now, but so be it, next year we try to get back in the championship.

Festy available on a free right now to any side outside of England. I'd be surprised if there's a club that isn't keeping an eye on him, even if it's only for the re-sale value.
Why sign now, when he can wait until the end of the season and sign for any club, including in England?
It sounds like he loves the club, so let's just wait and see. He might do a Jude Bellingham and wait until he can sign a contract with us!

He's apparently been shortlisted for the Barcelona job!

I had been thinking about this, the only thing I can think of is, if someone genuinely can't afford to go, but wants to, give me a PM in strict confidence and I will pair you with someone who is in a position to gift you a ticket.
How does that sound?
It's no guarantee, but it is someone off this community,
Could also reach out to some local football teams/youth groups if there's an excess of those coming forward to buy tickets.

They did say Fozzy should have been sent off but they did also say we should have had a penalty for the Worrall handball.
I don't think we should take up this "the world is against us, no one likes us" attitude because it's making us sound very bitter. Sky's coverage was relatively neutral and we drew a game where statistically we were second best, despite looking the better team for the majority of the game.

It'll be fine, and you're doing a good deed for someone. As long as you don't go in with the nutty end you should have a good day. Grin through the pain and either do your best to keep quiet or have a "ok I'm going to get pelters, but lets have fun with the bants" approach, just lap up all the jokes at your expense. Also, if you're clearly looking after someone, everyone around you is going to see that.
Much as we all enjoy mocking the gumpen hoards, they're mostly just ordinary decent people who support a football team and I believe as a club Forest are suppose to be pretty good with things like this.
We live quite close to the ground as well so it will be quite easy to just walk to the game. I was thinking I'll try and aim for a game against another team I don't like, or one of our promotion rivals. That way there will be some positives. We're just waiting for the Covid cases to drop so his wife and other daughter are a bit less anxious about him going out in a crowded place.

Thanks, I'll contact them. The mrs' says to wait until Covid cases are down a bit as even though he's vaccinated he's considered high risk. Hopefully he enjoys it, but not so much that he wants a season ticket!!

Looked a natural goalscorer with that banger! Really pleased for him, will hopefully give him the confidence to kick on a bit!
