    Help from finance analysts needed!
In 2016, Gibson sold Middlesbrough's tax losses to the club's parent company (Gibson-owned), turning the loss into revenue.
He turned a financial trick between his companies to benefit MFC.
How did this benefit MFC's FFP performance and was it significant? If so, can it be splashed onto Twitter, please, to expose the vengeful hypocrite?
Now, he is hoping for a payout from DCFC to shore up his future FFP results, given that they posted a £35.5 million loss last year...just think, if a possible DCFC compensation payout to MFC ended up preventing Gibson being in dock and suffering a  points penalty!

Problem with loopholes in regulations is they're not in breach of regulations, hence being a loophole.
We can all wax lyrical about the spirit of the rules, but if you start throwing damages claims about then you'd better be able to demonstrate a breach.
Interestingly, although the EFL did not appeal the verdict on the stadium, they did apply for a De Novo hearing ( retrial basically) but were told they didn't have grounds to. That was one of the delays alongside Boro's failed attempt to be added as an interested party.

Technically, it didn't go through appeal because the EFL lawyers couldn't find any grounds whatsoever to appeal the stadium charge.

We really need to stop arguments like this.  Fees for administrators is quite tightly controlled (legally). There are processes in place for creditors to contest what they're being paid if they feel it's unacceptable (since the admins fees are eating into any potential repayment that creditors might receive).  And even beyond all the legal aspects of it, the last thing Quantuma want is a reputation for not being able to do their job very well and dragging out the process.
All of the insinuations that the admins are mucking about are coming from outside entities that just want to sow discord amongst us.  We need to keep our eyes on the real enemies here.

Someone on Twitter (I think) put it well: Morris was responsible for getting us into this terrible mess, but it is the EFL, Boro and Wycombe who are preventing us getting out of it. We've accepted our punishment and as far as the club is concerned, Morris has gone. The stadium is a separate issue really: he owns it, but needs to sell it for £20million in order to repay a loan he personally guaranteed.
Suggesting he has a place at talks is simply playing to Gibson's agenda. Gibson basically wants Morris to give him a share of the stadium sale proceeds and take a financial hit in repaying the loan. The EFL should absolutely not be encouraging or enabling this. It has nothing to do with the club, or what the club needs to do the exit administration. It's basically Gibson holding a gun to the club's head while demanding money from Morris ("You still love this club don't you, Mel? Well give me the money.")

Presumably it's a pre-contract, so there's basically nothing we can do. He's in the last 6 months of his contract and can sign with any club outside of England. We'll get a tiny amount of compensation for him as he's under 23.

Either the buyer puts an extra £7m in, and HMRC get annoyed because they were mislead as to the potential size of the pot to repay creditors and could have negotiated a higher amount. Or there's no extra money and the existing pot gets diluted, and HMRC get less. Either way, HMRC will not be happy if we pay £7m to people that we do not believe are genuine creditors.

It was arbitration of the full Wycombe and 'Boro claims IIRC.

You can absolutely go to court to get an injunction, or similar, without a plaintiff serving you.  The EFL have given the admins a statement of their position. If that contravenes insolvency law, we get a court to step in and stop it.

What authority do they have to summon Morris, HMRC, MSD either?

The good news with Wycombe is, given the masterful grasp of dates and times that Couhig has shown in his interviews and press statements, the odds of him actually turning up to any meetings on the right day are basically zero.

So presumably the High Court is the only option then. If Quantuma have had legal advice that they aren’t creditors, then they legally can’t pay them anything without risking legal action from the other creditors etc. No amount of arbitration will change that. So we need a higher authority to make a decision.
