It's me again!
I love to discuss watches at the other end (AKA cheap) of the scale.
I have been ferreting in my junk box (items off eBay) for trench watches.
Imagine my surprise (!) when I saw this Lanco which must be circa 1920.
It is still working and keeping good time.
Apart from giving the case a polish I am reluctant to take it apart.
They don't build them like this anymore!

Yeah, walked /limped away with a couple of breaks in my leg and collorbone. Could have been a lot worse. Modern cars are 100% worth the ridiculous cost!

Yes I had looked at Bremont previously but shied away from them a little because they were (relatively) the new kids on the block. I have not come across Sinn before and wow having had a quick look at the U1 and others - they do seem to be serious kit!
I think I need to have a deeper look into these watches that you have mentioned before I make a decision.

That's harsh.

If you have a watch or anything for that matter, made in Soviet Union 60-70 years ago and it still functions that is a MIRACLE.

We can't all afford Breitlings or spend £350 every two years just to get it serviced!

I have a Citizen Eco Drive which I bought 2004. Still running. ?

I was planning something special for my 50th next spring but probably won't happen. I hope to get to Derby at least.

My crime is I chose my football team with my heart. If only I had chosen Manchester United like my girlfriend at the time.
Now I'm doomed to roam the streets of Derby every chance I get.
