Dunno where else to post this, but if someone at DCFC looks at this - very much appreciated that you put the full 90 replays on at midnight but could you find a way of posting them without revealing the scores, particularly in the title of the video?

Fully agree - it is annoying if you have avoided hearing the result with a view to watching the game later, but it's the Match Highlights videos that show the score in the headline, so those are the ones that need changing.

Our circumstances - trying to rehabilitate after being in financial ruin - dictate the level of patience though, and let’s be honest, we’re in no position to be rash.

Ripping up Warne’s contract will cost money. Dismissing his backroom staff will cost money. Appointing a new manager and his coaching team will cost money. Paying compensation if they are contracted will cost money. Bringing in players for the new manager will cost money.

Money we seemingly don’t have or if we do, we are either not prepared or not permitted to spend it. So which managers would be queuing up to replace Warne in any case?

Warne has been in the job for less than 12 months. He has three years left on a four year contract. He is not getting it right at the moment, that’s plain to see, but surely Clowes will be thinking: maybe things will look different in 20-30 games?

We have to stay calm and Warne has to step up and show what he can do. It’s a 46 game season, not a 4 game season, after all.

Yep. Don’t expect any of that is in the business plan for this season agreed with the EFL

  3. Just listened to last night’s Rams Daily podcast.

To quote Ed Dawes “I find it astonishing that you take this money from PAYE and the  VAT and put it in an account - a resting account as it were - and not pay it at the end. I mean is that legal?

Holy Moly - when the brown stuff hits the fan in any business, HMRC will be one of the first to have their payments delayed  on the basis that you can always do a deal - extend the time to pay for example.

And it’s arguable that if HMRC had accepted 25% in the first place the Club wouldn’t have had to be placed in Administration

Rooney’s latest statement (explaining why he left) makes no sense.  He says

‘We had no owner, we had no players and it felt I had got to the point where I did all I could’

But he ‘resigned’ just as Clowes was taking over.

Maybe pressure from the Mrs? I can imagine she was fed up of him checking on here every 5 minutes to see whether anything was happening while they were supposed to be enjoying a family holiday.

    (or was that just me?)

    At a guess, next year?

Obviously as it's now a new company that bought the assets there can't be previous years accounts for that company? Everything from last season will have had to come through the administrators I think?

There will be no more accounts for the old company on Companies House. They were the responsibility of the previous directors who are no longer in place.

I see the Bristol C brain dead are up in arms that we have apparently got away with it..

I mean seriously....they are utter morons..

Won't ruin a perfect day though..been celebrating Canada Day and get the perfect news that our club is safe and in good hands..

Yes Mr PoopHisPantsALot  on Only Twits In Bristol is still apoplectic that he doesn’t have all the outstanding DCFC accounts to feed into his spreadsheets to keep himself busy on his long lonely nights.

Really? Johnson and Huddlestone are both at the end of their careers now. They won’t be on anywhere near as much as they were last time they were here. Doubt either would be asking for more than 10k a week, which I’m sure our business plan would allow.

Sorry but paying over £1m a year for two players? Wouldn’t that scoop up a fifth of our likely season ticket money?

Pleased that Clowes has PB status as many were on tenterhooks whilst the spectre of Ashley still lurked - and the clickbait media hacks were feeding the fear.

I hope now that the DC deal can be concluded, and pronto. Closure is desperately needed.

    C O Y R

So we could be DCDCFC or possibly DC squared.
