Which would then give the green light to every other football cub to potentially only pay 1/4 of what they owe, the whole point of HMRC changing their creditor status was to stop this happening.

But presumably all other clubs are up to date with HMRC, or at least up to date with their payment plans otherwise they’d be under transfer embargo’s?

Was an excellent block and the rebound was just ahead of Byrne at the post.

I don't think we were at our best but we weren't as bad as all that. The ref was all for giving them push and shoves but not us, particularly up front. But they weren't that good and they can choose from god knows how many front players. Think we didn't quite have the experience and nouce at times. But not disheartened by the display.

TL’s chance in the first half goes in and we probably get a point.

Forest march on to 7th place at seasons end.

As for pushing and shoving, just a thought - are the referees seeing our white shirts standing out and therefore watching them and ignoring the opposition’s?

So if someone with good results against us is out of play off place or relegated (eg peterborough away) as a result of efl taking those points away they wont make a claim now the pandora's box is open?

Surprising Peterborough haven’t  put a compensation claim against us already.

The question is do Gibson and the other person really want to be the people who ensured Derby are liquidated? We know how we got to this point but those claims seem to be the sticking point in our survival. Now the momentum on this is building a little do they really want that backlash for them and their clubs?

TBH I don’t think they would give it a second thought.

DCFC would be gone and they would carry on. Won’t have actually lost anything themselves.

And would there really be a backlash?

Can’t see anyone in the national media currently investigating the veracity/legality of the claims - too interested in the PL.

Have DET even expressed an opinion or are they just regurgitating tweets/articles they find online as usual?

The big elephant in the room is the fact no preffered bidder has been announced tonight.

Rooneys comments today suggested to me it would be tonight, "we will know BY tomorrow".

If he’d thought there would be an announcement today surely he’d have said “BY tonight”.

  6. What surprises me is that Mercedes didn't make more of this on Sunday night:-

All competing cars must reduce speed and form up in line behind the safety car no more than ten car lengths apart.

Verstappen clearly violated that rule by running alongside Hamilton even if he didn't overtake hime before the restart.

From what I've been able to ascertain, the new rules effectively give HMRC the power of veto on a CVA. They used to just be another creditor, with the same voting rights, so a CVA could be agreed without their consent if the other creditors agreed on a pro-rata voting share.

The different versions arise from this being the first administration since the rules changed. No one knows how hard ball HMRC will play it. Some think they will only accept 100% and will be happy to make an example of us. Others think they will actually just maximise the pay back, so they'll accept 25% if that's the best offer, rather than get say 10% from a liquidation.

Others think they will want to be seen to do their bit to save the club and won't even exercise their new rights - which I'd say is unlikely.

But 100% of nothing is nothing. I expect there's a deal to be done.
