I can't see anyone wanting to pay for him. I'd let him go for nothing with a big sell on clause, think it would be best thing for him.

I think it seems as though the Club is on a good general direction. The end of this season will make it's aim and direction clearer. The management team is not for me, but if they get promotion then that is fulfilling their brief. It is obvious that any posts that vaguely question the manager and or the owner are seen as treasonous.
But those of us Derby fans with long memories will know that 'things aren't always as they seem' nor as we wish. So I see nothing wrong with fans keeping an eye on 'how things' are. There was an interesting line in the Maguire financial stuff (I think it was) that mentioned that Pride Park's status as a Community asset (or whatever the term is) was/had run out. It would be good to know about that but I haven't seen any other posts - might have missed them though.
So whilst we all loved ******* (insert manager's/owners name) we've seen how things can fairly quickly slide. I was trying to remember when it was that Stuart Webb 'dashed in' and paid HMRC off in the morning before our afternoon winding up order. So things look good atm, but... 😉 😄 #COYR 👍

We are already seeing the impact of a long season with injuries. We only need a couple more and there is a risk that the promotion bid is completely derailed. 
 
Loan out some of the academy players and bring on a couple of good additions proven at this level and it will have been a good window.

Depends how you look at it. For me we haven't weakened the squad by cashing in on our prized assets and have just funded a transfer for 300k.
It could have easily been the other way around and used that as an excuse for cashing in. Plus we haven't reached deadline yet and there is a starting possibility of bringing more faces in.

Yes but you can have a binding contract for that to become permanent at the end of the loan.

Look at it the other way around, he comes here does his ACL (hopefully not kiss of death) and hasn't got any of his future secured. There is nothing stopping us from putting a contract in place now to ensure all parties are covered. Which based on the comments, is what has happened

I can’t call the game at Lincoln boring, it was end to end for both sides like a basketball match.  Crap result, yes.

I think the sell on clause only applies on the first transfer not any subsequent ones. 

Take your point mate, but perhaps we're looking to do both? I think that overall, Smith probably brings a little more to the table than Collo and while I'm delighted at the latter's form this season, we'd be in deep doodoo if he got injured.
Also, won't CBT give us a pace dimension upfront too, albeit from the flanks? It's still the midfield that has me slightly concerned tbh.

Good entertaining 0-0 draw that was, they had chances, however as alluded to by PW previously, he sets us up to go for the win rather than take a draw. Another point on the road, unbeaten run extended, would have wanted 3pts but it's unrealistic to win every game.
Not going to read through match thread, as can imagine some of the OTT reactions, we are out of the promotion race, it was dreadful (welcome to Div 1 football) blah blah blah.
Hopefully a couple of new faces soon to freshen the squad.
