How is it forced on us?   Answer is it's not.   It's on TV for those that want to watch.   I couldn't give a **** about cricket, rugby or NFL but I just don't watch it I don't claim it's being forced on me 
Yes womens football is subsidised - just as 99% of mens football is including DCFC.   Show me a womens club that has been subsidised as much as Man City men, Chelsea men etc.

It's classic click farming stuff from the DerbyshireLive. I don't blame them for it, but this is how rumours start where there isn't any. Suddenly he will sign somewhere else and you'll have some fans claiming we missed out on a target and alike.

Looking at Small's history at Everton & Southampton, it appears he's motivated to find first-team football. He could have waited on the bench, or on loan, at both clubs and collected a hefty wage but chose not to. On the other hand, he struggled to get a start on loan at Vale in 22/23 and bailed early, now he might leave after half a season at Charlton.

There's ambition and then there's being a pain in the bum. Has he got bad representation? He's obviously confident enough in his own ability to turn down contracts but I think he'd do well to get his head down and play a full season at Charlton. He could go to Spurs and be 3rd choice LB, then where exactly has he got himself since leaving Everton....

It has to be by this Saturday (3rd Saturday in May by EFL rules) that players are notified of what is happening with their contracts so I suspect the list will be out this week.

He was getting a rave review this morning on TalkSport from Jeff Stelling.  Apparently he 'terrorised' Hartlepools defence earlier this season, although i'm not sure how hard that is at the moment.

For all the dreamers and people hoping. Will Hughes has signed a year extension.

We saw a whole season without Nelson in front of him.

I think we're in a really good position with players being out of contract, cherry pick who is good enough from those out of contract, don't let sentiment get in the way and get the recruitment right with around 7/8 signings and we could be in for a good season. 
Last season Warne wanted signings who were good enough for championship who would take a gamble on league 1, will new recruits Premier standard take a chance on championship hoping to get back to the promised land, exciting times.

I did exactly the same last night and his stats are pretty bad. He's been dining out on those fruitful seasons with Aberdeen for a while now! He's best off staying in League One.

Now that it’s near a done deal that Barnsley are staying down, I’d love any of Kane, Connel, Phillips or Williams from them.
