Just want to say that this has been an absolute nightmare for all of us, I am down in Ipswich watching this unfold daily.  Wasting time looking at rehashed stories on the DET app and website, feeling optimistic at times and then beyond depressed by it all at other times. 
There is another chink of light in the seemingly imminent AA takeover, would be great to see it go through ahead of the fixture release, spare the drama and what if's for all of us.
If he does take it on it just goes to show what an absolute armhole Ashley has been throughout the whole process.
Wanting us at price Q could never entertain, knowing this and then trying to destabilise the whole process with leaks and stories to the papers about being ignored by Q.
Feels like AA has got on with it no big stories to the press or messiah delusions to social media, long may that continue, a period of stable and steady re-building is required.  Lets not got flash with the cash again, until we have it to spend, no more Butterfields but a few more Brysons please.

It's comforting to know we still have options, however what have these interested parties been doing for the last few days whilst CKs bid stalled? It was the perfect opportunity to swoop in and seal a deal.
This is going right to the brink now. It's either liquidation or snaffled up by a vulture. I feel physically and emotionally sick. I'm gonna pour a stiff drink to blot out the pain.

- Kirchner bid is virtually dead in the water especially if the details re. his other businesses are true.
- Appleby and Morgan bids are 'not easily resurrectable'.
- Admins won't talk to Ashley.
Why didn't I support Liverpool or Man Utd as most of my friends did when I was back in primary school!
 

Ashley the saviour could have bought us in December and given Wayne Rooney and the team a chance at avoiding relegation! So could CK to be fair, but at least CK came back with acceptable bid(s).
My belief, maybe wrongly, is that Ashley's bid is so derisory, it wasn't worthy of a response or discussion.
You know, like when you put something on eBay expecting to sell for hundreds, and someone within 10mins offers you £10 via a private message, but you have to deliver it!

Whatever happens, I’ve had a lovely time on here today. 

In this scenario considering the progress made until before jubilee holiday, considering the fact the journos who are always first to break the bad news are saying nothing and even talking about next phase and signings I would say no news is good news and people need to stop being melodramatic, calm down and be patient. 

I read it. Another way. The process has been slower than expected and although they expected it to be signed before the bank holidays it has now slipped into that period. Either way I expect it to be sorted asap. This isn’t the worry for me, I’m more alarmed by Knights statement as he will not be the only one. The euphoria of the season has gone now and in the clear light of day players might be having second thoughts about signing on for L1

Future is starting to look a lot brighter, great that we can soon start to think about new kits and new signings and not the very existence of the club.
