Looks like I'm going to be the big shaft of sunshine round here 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

For what it's worth - and let's face it, I know sheet-all - preseason is nothing more than a knockaround on bigger pitches. I love how the back half has been shored up. But I fear there's a hole where a trigger should be. It's not about a lack of support, it's about having someone deadly enough to score. I just don't see that in the current setup.

Buy an old croc up and put him up there. He doesn't have to do much. Just has to fall onto quality ball.

B4 are you capable of starting a thread without it involving a 'yanks out' quote? Also why do you think 8 goals in 4 friendlies is a sign of lacking firepower? Also what is the problem if Theo is the only one scoring our goals? I don't remember Newcastle moaning when Shearer regularly scored 50% of their goals.

Thing is with friendlies, is that when your club is playing them, all fans treat them like competitive games and read into them like league fixtures.

When the season starts, everyone forgets them; goals scored in friendlies don't show up on statistics; if Jacobs scores against Weds, that will be his first goal.

B4, and other people that think you can predict your season from pre-season friendlies - what does this tell you?

Old ? He is a man in his best years right about now. So am I btw. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

In comparison to me, Cisse, he is rather old. Almost double my young, tender age 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Anything under 50 is young. After that comes a grown up time. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />
