How old is he this season, and most importantly, is he actually good enough to be considered a series thread for first team action in the coming seasons? No, I love Roberts, very underrated by a lot of people last season, but seen as we just gave him a one year deal, I can't see him being around for next season as well. Ambitious Posted August 7, 2012 Share Posted August 7, 2012 Looks a tidy footballer, good ground work in the tackle - from what I saw, the bits of his game he needs to improve are very much Gareth Robertos strong points, in terms of reading the game and positioning which are the hardest things to master but he has ability. He was beaten in the air a few times, because of his size this is going to be a problem - Gareth is also a small full back so could offer something in terms of help in that department (positioning) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
