Great, more optimism! Where will the goals come from?

Erm maybe the striker we're looking to bring in, Theo, Ward, Jacobs may chip in with a couple possibly Ben Davies as well, Buxton's head could bag a couple. Who knows what the season will bring, hardly grounds for being all negative when we sign a much needed midfielder to bolster the squad is it?

Pretty sure the same question is asked each summer and some how we keep scoring goals, odd that.

Do we really need to sign a " much needed mid fielder" when we have a great mid fielder in James Bailey? If we are so strapped for cash why waste 150 k? Madness.

Bailey is off tho so yes he is much needed, even then I'd like one more but may be that's just being greedy

Don't know anything about the guy, never seen him play so will reserve judgement. 23 years old, still time to improve, was made captain at young age, and has played at this level before! Things didn't work out for him one way or another at Preston, similar to Ward at Sheffield United, so let's just hope he can reproduce his best form here, and £150,000 is not much to lose if it all goes pear shaped!

Coutts is a decent hard working midfielder that can pick a pass and also likes to break forward at times. He doesn't have an attitude and got seriously messed about by the egomaniac that's now managing Preston. Having dropped Coutts from the captaincy and replaced him with a total donkey he later back tracked and gave him the armband back for the last few games after dropping the donkey!

Have a look at some of the YouTube clips of Coutts when he was with The Posh and you can judge for yourselves. If you have strikers that can get into space Coutts will find them. I'm looking forward to seeing him back in the championship alongside players who can only be better than what he had to play with at Preston.

Exactly what we need. If we play on the deck football and players that have pace to get into space (robinson, ward, Tyson) then if someone can do that we're quids in
