Geriatram
I've looked at the Cardiff goal a number of times today, and although it was a spectacular effort I feel that Frank was partially to blame,in as much as he had plenty of time to get back to the goal area, but that was just a one off.But it got me thinking about the time he first came in on loan he was like a breath of fresh air after Bywater, especially his distribution, and we were all disappointed when he went back to Blackburn.I have seen him every home match since he joined us full time and I feel he has gone backwards in that time.So can the finger be pointed at the goalkeeping coach,or was there a reason Blackburn let him go.Having said that I still think he is the right keeper for us.I was looking for a point on Tuesday so perhaps disappointment is clouding my thinking.does anyone else agree. Dangerous
I dont blame him at all.He wouldnt have been expecting the shot at all.It was a freak goal, simple as that.
McRamFan
Nope don't agree, as in terms of experiance, he's not had a huge amount of experiance and is still young. Loads of seasoned pro keepers have been beaten with freak shots like that.
Ghost of Clough
He's still young and learning. With more experience he might not come as far off his line. But just think of the amount of times he has saved us, and the amount of points he has earned the team.
swansea ram
If he was going backwards, then he would have saved that goal. (and me all the crap i've had off scumdiff fans since)

I agree, You can't blame someone for everything and some times, in football, things happen you can't account for.
davenportram
Didn't Bywater get done after going walkabout for them in the playoff game last season - just remind them about that
swansea ram
And where did Bywater come from?. It must be a Derby keeper thing. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
rynny
What I don't understand for the goal is that he was going to his right then last second tries to dive to his left, was it windy there? Did he lose it in the flood lights?
EastKentRam
Dont think you cant blame him for that goal. But, he's nothing special our Frank, makes mistakes, good shot stopper, average Championship keeper.

trekkie_ram
It's a ridiculous goal. He'd be fortunate to manage that once more in 100 shots.

Ghost of Clough
Despite this, he must be first choice for the GB squad, now that Hennessey won't be going.
VulcanRam
He had a bit of a wobble mid season, but generally he's been a really good signing, esp considering he's playing his first full season for a club. It was a superb goal, but that centre half could try that shot all day again and never get it in like that. Bywater got done like that by Petrov I seem to remember in the Prem disaster.
