Ambitious
He was to blame, no doubt about it... ball watching when all said and done and like people have said, it was a freak won't happen again, but he'll always remember that and will learn from it! to say he has gone backwards is wrong, to say he is an average championship keeper is also wrong IMO. He is steady which is important plus he has the ability to pull of some unbelievable saves, he has very quick reactions.
Boycie
Anyone who thinks Fielding is average just needs to look how many times he's played for his country, and even got a call up to the seniors. And all that was without making a senior appearance for his parent club.

RotherhamRam
Frank Fielding is what only 23. He has a minimum 12-17years of football left. His only experience is a loan here and a loan there. This is the first year where he has played a full season at this level and has with every young player this year it has been a learning experience. Some of the saves he has pulled of this season has been exceptional and has kept us in games for example his saves against WHU and Leeds at home were outstanding. He is one of the smallest goalkeepers and his biggest learning curve is dealing with crosses as he is not 6ft odd and puts him at a disadvantage against big strikers. Definately not going backwards and I have been happy with his first season. Some of the saves Fielding has produced the last 18 months of Bywaters time here would have seen goals being scored. Lyrical Ram
I'm not his biggest fan. We've struggled to find a decent keeper since Lee Camp left
uttoxram75
Frankie is better now than Camp will ever be. He's learning his trade with us and will make mistakes but is probably in the top 20 keepers currently playing.
