Ambitious
Bloomers has connections doesn't he? if he say's there is no interest..... Bloomfield gets the news come through, when it comes to rumours he can only base it on who he knows I doubt they would inform him of a bid made, or if a player is coming down. Day
He's not a rumour starter but a rumour confirmer usually, unless I guess the Club are giving him nothing to work with on this one
Leicester Ram
This is either one big rumour or Nigel is pulling off some master criminal type swoop.
chewbacca
I don't think we will get either....think Hooper, Eustace, Mellor.

jg96ram
it doesnt make sense, why would we bid 500k when it says on the leeds official site his contract expired in june and theyre talking to his people to try n sort something out hes happy with??? surley we can just offer a contract and if he signs he signs yeah?? He's under 24, so would be subject to compenstion if we were to get him on a bosman. Either get a bid accepted now (jacobs) or go through the tribunals (maguire.) Either get a bid accepted now (jacobs) or go through the tribunals (maguire.) We didn't actually go to a tribunal for Maguire - we did take ages to sort out a fee though. If that had gone to tribunal it would have been a FIFA tribunal instead of an FA one... and nobody wanted that, apparently.
Mr Tibbs
Nice being linked with him (especially from their end not ours) but I'll wait and see before getting excited.

Don't know what financial difference comes with that though?
May Contain Nuts
Nope, personally I've no idea what the specific differences are. I don't think we've ever been involved in a FIFA one, so it's impossible to compare by experience either.

jezram
i suspect the reason we made a bid and not just agreed a contract is cos derby could expect the compensation to be high
duncanjwitham
Yeah, because they were 2 different associations. Don't know what financial difference comes with that though? With FIFA tribunals, it's basically specified exactly how much you'll have to pay (X amount for every year of training given to the player at each age group in your academy etc). With internal FA ones, they basically make it up as they go along, although it is based on a similar set of criteria.
ramexpat
This story was from march [url=http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/norwich-city/]Norwich City boss [url=http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/people/paul-lambert/]Paul Lambert is reportedly preparing a bid for [url=http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/leeds-united/]Leeds United defender [url=http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/people/aidan-white/]Aidan White. The 20-year-old has turned down a £10,000-a-week deal to stay at Elland Road, according to The Sun, and is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League. White has been at Leeds since 2002, and is comfortable at left back or left wing. .Really really doubt he will be on 10 grand with us
