Leicester City v Derby County

On West Ham, thier fans aren't happy with Sam Allardyce's tatics as it goes against the "West Ham way" (whatever that means) and Nolan is very ineffective for them. They have a lack of pace in midfield.

Personally I think no team will walk this league and who goes up may come down to character rather than quality.

Back on topic, I find it odd that Andy King isn't a regular starter for Leicester (6 starts and 3 sub apps), always thought of him as a top player at this level.

That's how I thought Sven got carried away with his revolution. Reckon he might of figured out it's more about evolution.

He's realised now perhaps that he has to use players like Wellens and King who are solid Championship players and are the heart beat to that Leicester side.

I dunno, they don't seem so much like an expensive patch-work cover. But I don't think they're quite in harmony yet.

But then I thought everything was rosey at West Ham too!! Lol

But we are.

Lost to Bristol City/Reading and Beat Southampton/Brighton at home. A little inconsistent - yes.

Are you sure ?

We`ve tarted it up a little. Got a big screen now.

still 300 miles from the train station though! If you are going to build a faceless, souless new ground with a silly name at least have the decency to put it somewhere near the transport links. But I suppose you are a rugby town after all......

Coherent and well argued point of view, Leicester 1 - Derby 2 (Hendrick to score first) agree with other posts rest Robinson, runs like a demon, but we can't afford to give the ball away as easily as we did against Barnsley

To say im "uber confident" is an understatement.

And are you sure about them guys walking into our team ? Sorry but thats fookin funny.

Why is it funny? most of them are defenders and a goalie. Being as we have conceded less goals than you surely it is a case of simple maths?

I thought that S.Davies looked knackered for most of the last game, I think that Theo will be ok as he seems in better shape than Davies and running his part (most) of his game. I am happy with Steve D's goals obviously but you never see him do anything else!

This'll be a really tight game.

I think the defence will be able to cope with a front two of Vassell and Nugent or Beckford fairly handily with Shackell playing. His reading of the game and positional sense will negate their pace and movement for the most part.

But I think we're likely to get overrun in midfield. The quality of Wellens and King et al could prove too much for Bryson and Hendrick and their options in midfield, with Danns and Michael Johnson to come off the bench, may well likely sway the game in their favour.

I think if we are to get something from the game, Ward and/or Robinson will have be on top form. To break down their defence, we are going to have to get in behind and drag Bamba or Mills out of position, like Maynard did earlier in the season. In many ways, it'd be the perfect game for Tyson if he was fit.

I will despair if we try the route one football as Steve Davies will end up having a long afternoon up against Bamba and Mills.

Leicester 1-0 Derby, Neil Danns to score.

Just curious now, are Derby your second team?

this is gonna be our toughest game so far. think the key could be the likely absense of either kilbane or roberts. they have better options off the bench than us as well as probably the 2nd best squad after the hammers. we will find it very hard to break through their defence. they have kept 3 clean sheets in a row i think. would be pleased if we scraped a draw there.

I think if Kilbane plays it will certainly be an area they can exploit and get some joy from. I would sooner even Anderson played to be honest at least the shape of the team would not have to change. If we keep the positive mentality of the last 3 games and take it to them when we can and defend well when we have to I can see us taking something from this.

There is big pressure on them to win this one so we we can use this to our advantage by getting the crowd moaning pretty quickly. Left-back is a real concern though.

Love the two way rivalry about this game

Leicester are so depserate to be our rival and big our games up.. And we're so pessistant in telling them they mean nothing to us that when you look at it (reverse psychology) it does look like we are bothered about them.. The more you deny it, the more obvious it becomes.

Read their forums, they make me laugh, they keep banging on about our **** support.. Why are they that bothered that year after year we get bigger numbers than them? Support means naff all, just look at Newcastle.

On to the game, does anyone else look at Leicesters team and think for the amount they've spent on it, they're not actually that good. When I think of the best players in the division, none of Leicesters names come to mind.

Hendrick, Shacks, Fielding and Brayford would walk into their team no problem.

Anyway on to the game. 0-3 Rams.

Robinson will have Mills number with ease and bag 2 and Hendrick will destroy their midfield and hit home another one late on.. And when 80 mins approach you'll see the Leicester masses leaving.. Fire drill mark II style.

Kinell you on prozac fella? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I think this fixture really depends on what part of Derby you live, for me it's always been a nothing game, leicester wouldn't feature in my TV show 'Ambitious top ten list of football teams, who he hates' this season it's all about money vs character and I really hope that we can show it's not all about money in football, I feel a lot of our players will be feeling the same to show they're better than a bunch of players picking up pay cheques.

Come on DERBY! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

Aren't Mongols just people from Mongolia -that's not offensive? Maybe they are mainly Forest fans out there and they like to poke fun at our "quiet" fans? That said, most Forest fans I know are Mongols so maybe that is the case. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Can't see us getting anything out of this to be honest- we always do poorly against the poxy foxes. 2-0 I'm afraid 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Think some people are bing abit up themselves and over confident. There's a fine line with optimism!

2-2 draw, Robinson goal to start it off for me, lots of action by 2 teams that will not want to go into the international break on a loss. Leicester are no mugs, hopefully the Derby County that have played the last 3 turn up and not the 2 before those...

Just seen Sven on Sky Sports News and he said he was at Pride Park on tuesday and Derby were 'Brilliant' You bet we were Sven just unlucky to win!! I think we will go one better and win 2-1 on Saturday with Craig Bryson hitting the winner to show the Scotland manager what he is missing

Yes I'm absoloutley 100% sure that Fileding (GK) Brayford (RB) Shacks (CB) Hendrick (CM) would walk into your team

Schmeichel - Good shot stopper but can't control his area well enough.. I don't rate him, neither did Grayson (LOL)

Peltier - Actually I rate this guy, but I rate Brayford higher.. That's just opinions, he isn't an obvious weakness unlike Konchesky

Bamba - Erm, a monster in the air (like Barker really) put lacks pace, can't bring the ball out of defence and gets beat by anyone with a bit of pace/movement.. Shacks would easily get in ahead of him, as he would most CBs in this league

Wellens - is cack.. The potential of Hendrick is huge, he's the best product I've seen since Hudds. He can tackle, pass (better than anyone that your team currently possess') and he can tak the ball from midfield beyond other CMs.. Oh and he's a goalthreat, he'll get 10 goals this season easily.. And Wellens, has no movement, lacks football knowledge and is slow in the tackle

Other players are hit and miss.. Like you probably wouldn't take them, but looking at your first 11, how many would I actually want.. You guys have a stronger squad make no mistake, but perhaps I'd take a couple of your strikers? I don't really rate S.Davies but he's scored more than all of your strikers..

I look forward to the game, I have nothing against Leicester at all.. I just don't rate your manager, fans or team.. For a lot of money I don't see much quality, but should we lose 5-0 and you win the league with 90 points plus I might admit I'm wrong 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
