Shackell is great, too good for this league O'Brien looked decent enough yesterday, for one so young Our best player from the last 2 years Barker is yet to come back into the defence Brayford and Fielding are both good championship players-that's 4 out of the back 5 easily good enough for this league Last seaon we were dire at coping with pressure towards the end of games, 2 league games in and we have coped well in both matches Hendrick looked good enough yesterday Ben Davies has started well this season, played well 2nd half yesterday Croft is giving everything Bryson showed some nice touches vs Watford Davies look strong and powerful and well knows where the goal is Our most experienced/best midfielder Green is to come back at some point Addison is going be like a new signing at Xmas if he gets fit with Barnsley We've won 2 leauge games with around 10 injuries. Must say something about the squad depth. We've let in 1 goal in 2 league games. We've not played that great in terms of passing and creativity, but a solid base is defo something good to build on. Confidience plays a big part in that. We could well win 2 out of the first 5 games. That would be the best start in a season in years and years. (anyone actually know when, not since Cox at least?) We are about breaking even as a club. Imagine if we had spent loads of cash and were where Forest are now. The fans were great yesterday. Their keeper gave us some really good appreciation at the final whistle. The look on his face said "I wish we had support like that" Best array of chants I've heard from Derby fans in a long time.
