HAZ
As much as I don't like the guy, and not keen on us spending top wages on a 34 year old, I really do think he could be a massive player for us if we signed him.
p.shilton
how long are you in for mate? what did you do? Beat up a student but strangely I got sent down for it- if only I was a footballer...
rynny
If we are pinning the hopes of promotion on one player then we are in a mess- if that player is Bowyer we may as well give up now Or maybe he could be a member of the team that improves us? At the moment, if we go for 3 in the middle then we have Bailey, Bryson and Pearson, therefore Bowyer would improve the team, so I would have him here, in fact I would have Stephen Hawking in there instead of Pearson (not really)
blackNwhites
If I was beaten up by a footballer, obviously I'd take the up front payment.
Leeds Ram
bowyer would be a brilliant player at this level and could be an experienced head in the middle that we may need and rynny i would rather have stephen hawking playing for derby county than stephen pearson. UTR.93
he'd leave a huge black hole in the back four he would also leave tyre markes everywhere.. Maybe he would have been better going in with them Monster Trucks a while back ? :/
liverpoolram
he'd leave a huge black hole in the back four i agree, but his framework on quantum relativitymay emit enough radiation to get even rigamortis Pearson moving.(to the scum forest hopefully)Sign em up,Bowyer and Hawkings. Leeds Ram
indeed, i would rather have bowyer than bryson in all honesty, you know what you get with bowyer and in this league he will do extremely well.
tomsdubs
I'd rather have Bryson than a player on limited time. I get the feeling in 6 months time we could be praising the signing of Bryson.
Leeds Ram
bowyer has got a couple of years in him and is already the finished article, and also in 6 months time we could be slating him, right here right now i would rather have someone with premiership experience last season,he could of helped tutor bailey etc and someone who has consistently played well and is virtually guaranteed to do well, rather than a gamble on a player who has never played over here before. tomsdubs
You talk like Bowyer isn't a gamble, we just got rid of one prem experienced defensive mid on big wages why would we sign another. Say his legs start going end of this season you are stuck with him. He isn't guaranteed to do anything. Bryson is a better signing for the club imo.
