Just desserts!

"She said Houghton accepted he had "gone too far" during "mutual goading" between the two sets of football fans and had searched for the image of Bradley after "being shown a Sheffield United badge" by Sunderland supporters."

Imagine being 31 years old and being so triggered by being shown a football club badge that you decide to mock a dead child.

"Sheffield Wednesday's chief operating officer Liam Dooley condemned Houghton's "utterly deplorable behaviour" which he said "in no way represents the values of the club"."

These kind of statements always make me laugh. Thank goodness Dooley clarified that mocking dead children isn't one of Sheffield Wednesday's core values. I really wasn't sure before now.

Something something Richard Keogh

No...as Keogh won his case, Yes sacked...but unfairly said the tribunal.

I was a Senior Union official at RR, There's been a couple of cases in my time there where people have been dismissed through out of work shenanigans. One was for sending porn through email at home(staff)the fool had an HR CCd into the recipients email address and was flagged up at work, The other for I believe shoplifting...but not to sure🤷‍♂️

Who is the employer? Does anyone know? I'm not defending the person obviously, but i'm sure many people do worse things and keep their job, it's just not in the media.

Agreed, but not every misdemeanour can be reported and the fact that some are not should not absolve this human toilet of any repercussions of his vile behaviour.

That's called "Getting away with it"

... Or "How to be a complete knobjockey whilst still managing to avoid the attention of 25k fellow attendees, and a live TV audience of a few million".
