At Wednesday he enjoyed a squad and a budget far superior to Derby's, and still didn't succeed in getting the automatic spots despite being miles ahead coming into the final month. As a Sheffield local I can also say that Wednesday fans really didn't rate his tactics or style of football, and that they won a huge number of games from keeping clean sheets and winning 1-0 (something our defence is incapable of).
